Stone Town is de enige werelderfgoedlocatie in Zanzibar, dus mis deze kans niet om het te zien en het leven van de lokale bevolking te ervaren. De uniciteit van verschillende architectuur maken de stad en haar inwoners tot een icoon van multiculturele smeltkroes. De geschiedenis neemt je mee door de steegjes en straatjes waar slaven-, specerijen- en ivoorhandel plaatsvindt. Bezoek enkele historische gebouwen en gebedsplaatsen, markten, de verbazingwekkende gebogen deuren, balkons en bazaar in de smalle straatjes

Werk rond de straten van Stone Town langs de zee en ervaar verschillende historische gebouwen die in de koloniale tijd als administratiekantoren werden gebruikt. Ervaar cultureel erfgoed en de kosmopolitische invloed. Geschiedenis leren tijdens een bezoek aan het oude fort en het House of Wonders.
Bezoek de voormalige slavenmarkt om de slavernijgeschiedenis tentoon te stellen en de kerkplaats waar het een marktcentrum was, ook zie je het slavenmonument met originele ketting die werd gebruikt tijdens de slavenhandel.
Langs de steegjes van Stone Town zie je de prachtige Zanzibar-deuren, Indiase balkons en zoveel cadeau- en superieure winkels. We eindigen de tour op de Darajani-markt om de dagelijkse drukte van de lokale bevolking op de vis- en specerijenmarkt te ervaren.

Khamis is a very professional and knowledgeable tour guy, he speaks fluent English and told us a lot of history in stone town, also go shopping with us, we had a very good trip with Khamis, very recommended
Khamis is a very friendly guide with a good knowledge of German, who first took us competently through a spice farm, with comprehensive, vivid explanations. The tour of Stonetown was also interesting with a lot of information, especially about the people and their lives in Zanzibar City. It was a lot of fun not only to visit the sights, but also to walk with him through the market, have a coffee at the meeting places and experience the coexistence of the different religions and cultures directly. We were very lucky to have Khamis as our guide today around Stone Town. He is fluent in English, very knowledgeable and took care of us well.
