Stoeltjeslifttocht + Boswandeling + Uitzichtpunten over Boedapest

Deze tocht van een halve dag brengt u met de stoeltjeslift naar het populairste bos van Budapesteans om te wandelen met een prachtig uitzicht vanaf het hoogste punt van de stad, vernoemd naar Elizabeth de welverdiende geliefde koningin van de Hongaren (ggl-rating 4.8 door 5200) Je proeft een strudel van het legendarische StrudelPlace! Wandel door dit eeuwige bos met een reeks boeiende uitzichtpunten. De wandeling is eenvoudig, meestal bergafwaarts, terug naar het lager gelegen station van de stoeltjeslift! We bezoeken ook de staande Rock of Fairies (ggl-rating 4.8 door 470). Dit is een relatief nieuw programma hier, maar men zegt dat ik een vriendelijke en deskundige gids ben met 20 jaar ervaring, die tienduizenden gasten uit 57 landen had (foto nr. 6). Bij sneeuw of ijs missen we de Feeënrots en bezoeken we een kleine grot en de 800 jaar oude ruïnes van een klooster van de belangrijkste kloosterorde van Hongarije, zelfs het lichaam van St. Paul werd hier enkele decennia bewaard. Buskaartjes, stoeltjesliftkaartje, strudel inbegrepen!

We were in Budapest during an incredible heat wave so that made everything a bit harder through no fault of guide. There was also an accident or something that was really bottlenecking traffic on the bus that we were supposed to ride to where we would get on the chair lift. Due to the crowding on the bus our guide decided we would get off and walk to the chairlift. However...it was a slight up-hill most of the way and quite warm and many in our group struggled with that part and it made the rest of the trip more problematic. This is a nature walk and the scenery is fantastic! When we were there the overlook was closed due to some damage but there was still a couple places to stop and the mile long, mostly flat nature walk that went to the strudel house. Had we not done the half hour uphill walk to get to the chair lift even our most fragile would have been able to do the 1 mile walk to the strudel house and then gotten the bus back down. The description did not really mention that it was a quite steep and gravel (slippery) downhill hike to the bottom. Our guide was good with the group who hiked down but if he had asked if everyone in our 18 person group was capable of doing a long walk uphill to get to the chair lift I would have told him we needed to stay on the bus as planned.
There was a lot of walking for most of the tour Only 12 minute ride on chair lift. Not everyone completed the tour as couldn’t do all the walking. The bush walk was quite hard with one man falling. This should have been mentioned in your add so people were aware it was more of a walking tour for approx 3 1/2 hours as the main event. City sights never happened as Look out was closed very disappointing Poor value for money all up. Guide was very nice.
It was a fairly sunny day and it was very pleasant to climb the mountain in complete silence. There were very few people and we had a lot of fun climbing in complete silence. Then we climbed up to the Watchtower quite calmly. A photo on a chairlift is a good show.
