Tijdens de tour neem ik je mee naar het hoogste gebouw van Nairobi, waar je van bovenaf kunt genieten van een adembenemend uitzicht over de stad. Vanaf dit uitkijkpunt zie je ook het standbeeld van de eerste president van Kenia. Afhankelijk van het tijdstip van de dag biedt deze stop een mooie gelegenheid om zonsopgang of zonsondergang boven Nairobi te ervaren. We bezoeken de plaats van de bomaanslag op de Amerikaanse ambassade in 1998 en bespreken de historische betekenis ervan. Onderweg verkennen en bespreken we de vele monumenten die een belangrijke rol hebben gespeeld in de geschiedenis van Nairobi en Kenia als natie. Daarna gaan we naar de Maasai Markt, waar u authentieke Afrikaanse handwerk, souvenirs, curiosa en meer kunt kopen. Ik zal u helpen om ervoor te zorgen dat u kwaliteit items tegen lokale prijzen krijgt. Zodra de tour is voltooid, zal ik een goed restaurant aanbevelen en ik zal ook helpen met het regelen van een Uber om je veilig en gemakkelijk terug naar je hotel te brengen.

Bij deze halte zien we het eerste standbeeld van de eerste president van Kenia en krijgen we ook de kans om op het dak van het KICC-gebouw te gaan om Nairobi vanuit de lucht te bekijken.
Dedan Kimathi is een van de nationale helden in de Keniaanse geschiedenis. Een van de mensen die Kenia helpen vechten voor onafhankelijkheid.
Tom Mboya is zo belangrijk in de geschiedenis van Kenia sinds hij in de congreszaal sprak om Kenia te helpen haar onafhankelijkheid te krijgen. Hier zie je zijn standbeeld en maak je ook foto's
Kenya National Archive is een nationaal monument. Hier krijgen we de hele geschiedenis van Nairobi. naar binnen gaan is optioneel. (Je gaat deze attractie alleen van buitenaf verkennen)
Hier zien we het Kipande-huis, een nationaal monument. Het heeft veel geschiedenis waardoor Kenia als land groeide.
Op de Masaai-markt kun je Afrikaans handwerk en souvenirs kopen. U kunt foto's maken en communiceren met onze lokale verkopers.
Jamia-moskeeën is een nationaal monument. Het is het centrum van aanbidding voor de moslimgemeenschap in Nairobi. Hier krijg je de moskee te zien, maak je foto's en krijg je ook meer geschiedenis over de Jamia-moskee.
In dit herdenkingspark ziet u waar de Amerikaanse ambassade in 1998 werd gebombardeerd. U kunt ook foto's maken. (Je gaat deze attractie alleen van buitenaf verkennen)

Very nice walking tour, Calvince is very knowledgeable guide and shares a lot of interesting information about Kenyan history. Going to the market is not such a pleasant experience if you are not a fan of intrusive salesmen and bargaining. Better places for your souvenirs and gifts are Langata Link and Spinners Web, also nice for a good coffee and lunch.
Calvince is a super nice guy and gave us a great walking tour of some of the city highlights. Can highly recommend!!

What a great guide! It is a fairy easy walk in one small area of Nairobi but he provides all the facts that you want and more. He looks genuinely interested in pleasing you and make this an enjoyable time. Also, he was the only guide who offered this as an afternoon your, very convenient for people on a tight schedule. Calvince What a great tour! My girlfriend and I wanted to see the city, but we wondered if it was safe. Then we ended up at Calvince! And I would recommend him to everyone! Calvince guided us today through Nairobi's CBD (central business district). An interesting tour where everything is covered, including: history, sight seeing, food and of course lots of fun. Calvince really knows how to explain everything very clearly so that everyone can understand it. Calvince is someone who pays close attention to you and knows how to answer all your questions. My girlfriend and I felt really comfortable in the city, partly thanks to Calvince. Thanks again for the enjoyable and informative tour. We really enjoyed it!
