De Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque staat in Abu Dhabi, de hoofdstad van de Verenigde Arabische Emiraten. De grootste moskee van het land, het is de belangrijkste plaats van aanbidding voor dagelijkse gebeden, vrijdagbijeenkomsten en Eid-gebeden. Tijdens Eid kan het door meer dan 41.000 mensen worden bezocht
Het gebouw is ontworpen door de Britse architect [John Elliott (WATG architects)] in samenwerking met Reza Rahmanian (HDC Architects). Het ontwerp van het hotel is een speelse mix van gekoesterde islamitische architectonische elementen zoals balans, geometrie, verhoudingen, ritme en hiërarchische nadruk om een verenigd geheel te creëren. De geïnspireerde grote koepel met uitgebreide geometrische patronen domineert meer dan 114 kleinere koepels verspreid over het gebouw. De kleur van het gebouw is bedoeld om verschillende tinten zand in de Arabische woestijn weer te geven. De bouw begon in december 2001, de interieurinrichtingswerken werden geleverd door Depa Interiors, Abu Dhabi en het hotel opende zijn poorten in februari 2005. De bouwkosten bedroegen ongeveer 3 miljard USD (11,02 miljard AED), waarmee het het op twee na duurste hotel is ooit gebouwd. Het wordt alleen overtroffen door The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas in Las Vegas (3,9 miljard USD) en de Marina Bay Sands in Singapore (5,5 miljard USD)
De torens bevinden zich tegenover het Emirates Palace hotel en zijn voorzien van kantoren, appartementen en een hotel. De geschatte kosten voor de bouw waren 2,5 miljard Dirhams. Torens 2 en 5 bereikten hun hoogtepunt in november 2010. Een jaar later, in november 2011, werd het Jumeirah at Etihad Towers Hotel, dat eigendom is van de Jumeirah Group, geopend in Tower 1. Het Japanse restaurant Tori No Su werd in 2012 in het hotel geopend. Het hotel is omgedoopt tot Conrad Abu Dhabi Etihad Towers, dat opende deuren in Toren 1 op 1 oktober 2020. De aangrenzende Toren 2 is (per december 2012) het hoogste gebouw op het eiland Abu Dhabi en het op één na hoogste gebouw in Abu Dhabi na de Sky Tower op het eiland Al Reem. Toren 2 heeft een observatiedek op de 75e verdieping dat toegankelijk is vanuit het hotel via een verbindingspodium op een lager niveau. De torens werden gebruikt als filmlocatie voor de 2015-film Furious 7. In de film stelen Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) en Brian O'Conner (Paul Walker) een Lykan HyperSport en rijden ze door drie van de torens.

De groentemarkt van Abu Dhabi (ook bekend als Al Mina Fruit & Vegetable Market of Souk is de belangrijkste groentemarkt in het centrum van Abu Dhabi, Verenigde Arabische Emiraten Naast kraampjes met verse groenten en fruit in het algemeen, heeft de markt ook een rij winkels die dadels verkopen. De markt ligt naast de haven van Zayed en de vismarkt is ook dichtbij.
Het Louvre Abu Dhabi is een kunst- en beschavingsmuseum in Abu Dhabi, Verenigde Arabische Emiraten. Het museum werd op 8 november 2017 ingehuldigd door de Franse president Emmanuel Macron en de vicepresident van de Verenigde Arabische Emiraten, Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum en de kroonprins van Abu Dhabi, Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
Ferrari World Abu Dhabi is een grotendeels overdekt themapark op Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, Verenigde Arabische Emiraten. Het is 's werelds eerste park met een Ferrari-thema en beschikt over Formula Rossa, 's werelds snelste achtbaan. Op 3 november 2007 werd de eerste steen voor het park gelegd. Houd er rekening mee dat reizigers deze attractie niet zullen betreden.
The Heritage Village in Abu Dhabi is een kleine maar intrigerende attractie op een strand in de buurt van de Marina Mall. In het kleine park vind je voorbeelden van bedoeïenenhuizen en andere tentoonstellingen die beschrijven hoe het dagelijkse leven in de Emiraten vroeger was.

Our driver, Mr. Princ, was extremely kind, friendly and always did his best to satisfy all our demands. We felt very safe. The VAN was clean and confortable and we couldn't wish for a better service. On the top of that, we asked drop off us to another location and no problem. Go for it !!!!!!

Ultimately, you are likely going to Abi Dhabi to visit/see the Sheikh Zayed Mosque, and for that, this was an economic way to accomplish that. Aside from the Mosque (no tour guide of that is included for that bit), there was a cool pitstop on the way that had an impressive Mad Max theme going on. The rest of the itinerary however was; - the usual sales stop at an ahem 'museum' (psst it is a store :) ) every tour company will stop at these places unfortunately so it is what it is. - A drive by with pointing and educating while driving van. Not ideal, especially if you are on wrong side of van - A couple very quick pull over and take a pic type stops. Sadly the photo spots were pretty far away, so not ideal. All this said, our driver Ahmed was fluent in English, easy to understand, friendly, knowledgeable, and was great to have as our driver. For the money, it was decent. I'd have preferred to skip the 'museum', and would have preferred a few more pull overs vs drive bys, and to skip the Ferrari stop (kind of pointless as you do not go in and there are no cars) but it was still good.

Nice and comfortable tour of Abu Dhabi city. The driver Mr Ahmed was professional and guided us well. Pick up and drop was arranged from our house in Dubai. The vehicle was clean. I would recommend this trip to anyone who wants to explore Abu Dhabi from Dubai.
