Stadsrondleiding in Cusco: We bezoeken de Q'oricancha of Tempel van de Zon en vervolgens de archeologische vindplaatsen van Sacsayhuamán, Q'enqo, Pucapucara en Tambomachay. Bereidingscursus Pisco Sour: De stadstour eindigt om 18:30 uur in het historische centrum. Daarna neem je deel aan een workshop waarin je leert hoe je de Pisco Sour, de bekendste cocktail van Peru, bereidt. Hotelovernachting in Cusco

Voor de stadstour door Cusco hebben we 2 vertrektijden: 's Ochtends tussen 8:30 en 9:00 uur. 's Middags tussen 13:30 en 13:40 uur We beginnen de stadstour door Cusco met een ophaalservice bij uw hotel. Vervolgens bezoeken we de kathedraal van Cusco, de belangrijkste kerk van de stad, gebouwd in de 16e eeuw. Vervolgens lopen we ongeveer 8 minuten naar Qoricancha, de Tempel van de Zon.
We bezochten Coricancha, de eeuwenoude Incazonnetempel, waar nog steeds indrukwekkende overblijfselen te vinden zijn. Aan het einde van het bezoek vertrekken we per voertuig vanuit het centrum van Cusco naar het imposante fort Sacsayhuamán.
We verkennen Sacsayhuamán, een Inca-fort dat de macht en techniek van het oude Andesrijk weerspiegelt. Tijdens het bezoek leert u alles over de geschiedenis en de oorsprong ervan. Na deze stop rijden we verder naar het ceremoniële complex van Qenqo.
Qenqo, een oud Inca-ceremonieel centrum gewijd aan de verering van hun goden, met uit steen gehouwen altaren en ondergrondse gangen. Daarna vervolgden we de tocht naar Puka Pukara, een militair fort.
Puka Pukara was een Inca-militaire post die de toegang tot Cusco bewaakte. De muren, terrassen en trappen getuigen van de verdedigende en bestuurlijke functie die de vesting had.
We sluiten af met een bezoek aan Tambomachay, bekend om zijn ceremoniële fonteinen en hun verbinding met wateraanbidding. De tour eindigt op de Plaza de Armas.
Pisco Sour lessen. Na de stadstour gaan we verder met de Pisco Sour-workshop, waar je een korte presentatie krijgt over de geschiedenis van de Pisco Sour in Peru en je eigen Pisco Sour kunt maken. Het is een erg prettige ervaring. De Pisco Sour-workshops worden gehouden in restaurant Republica del Pisco.

Impressive how the Incas managed to build all those structures in places so difficult to access. The guide explained in detail the different theories and shared many historical data, making us all better able to understand what was happening at that time. An excellent excursion, with clear explanations and a guide always friendly and willing to answer all our questions.

There are a lot of extra charges to each attraction that the tour company did not communicate ahead. The tour guide time pressured us to make decision to purchase tickets because they pair us with another couple who purchased all inclusive tickets.

It is a highly recommended agency, very serious, pending all details. Gabriela was the one who guided us during the 5 days of our trip. We also went to Machupichu and Aguas Calientes. The guide of the City Tour, Gabrial was excellent... it was raining and we enjoyed everything in the same way. Machupichu Frank's guide was also excellent. The transfers... everything was very well-organized. I recommend it!!!

I made a reservation for this tour with the option of a guide in Portuguese and with just two days left until the tour, I received the following message from Eco Tour Cusco “Good evening, your reservation is confirmed for June 20th, please keep in mind that the service is bilingual Spanish/English” A complete lack of respect and responsibility. If you don't have the service, then don't advertise, and now, how I resolved the situation at the last minute. Complete nonsense.
Hubo un error al momento de la comunicación, cuanto lo siento, los tours grupales siempre salen el bilingue Ingles/español, guía en un idioma especifico como portugues solo se brinda con un servicio privado y usted nos contrato un servicio grupal. De nuevo le pido mil disculpas, tendremos mayor cuidado al momento de comunicarlo.
Brigit was our guide and she explained everything very well and answered all our questions. We really liked it. The only problem is that the City Tour should be all day, as half a day is too little time to get to know the archaeological sites and be able to calmly explore every corner.

The archaeological sites are impressive and majestic! I was a little affected by the altitude but nothing that couldn't be fixed with eucalyptus and a pill. It rained a little but the guide was very detailed and took his time for the rest of us to catch up. Highly recommended

This day was totally unforgettable, the places we visited were unmissable and it was a quiet trip, it was perfect for our first tour in the city of Cusco.
