Onderweg naar Saint-Tropez rijdt u naar St Maxime en maakt u een boottocht van 20 minuten (9€) om de stad op eigen houtje te verkennen (beschikbaar van mei tot half september). Ontdek in uw vrije tijd de beroemde haven, prachtige stranden en het levendige Place des Lys, waar kunstenaars, beroemdheden en journalisten elkaar ontmoeten. Wandel door de pittoreske straatjes en geniet van de vele lokale restaurants. Saint-Tropez heeft een fascinerende geschiedenis, die zich ontwikkelde van een 15e-eeuws militair bolwerk tot een rustig vissersdorp in het begin van de 20e eeuw, voordat het een hotspot werd voor de jetset. Op de terugweg stopt u bij Port Grimaud, het “Kleine Venetië” van de Riviera, met zijn grachten, kleine bruggetjes en charmante pleintjes. Voor cruisers: Een 50% restitutie zal worden verleend op aanvraag in geval van last-minute haven call annulering.

Rijd langs de kustlijn terwijl je naar het zuidwesten reist langs de Esterel Corniche, een weg langs een klif met een onvergetelijk uitzicht op de Middellandse Zee. Passeer het spectaculaire Esterel-massief, bekend om zijn eigenaardige rode kleur.
Stop bij het ansichtkaartachtige stadje Port Grimaud. Deze charmante plaats wordt ‘Klein Venetië’ genoemd en staat bekend om zijn schilderachtige grachten, kleine bruggetjes en aantrekkelijke huizen.
Vervolg uw weg naar de glamoureuze havenstad St-Tropez, waar u de jachten van een miljoen dollar in en uit de haven ziet glijden en langs het mooie strand langs stijlvolle terrasjes en trendy boetieks kunt wandelen. Bezoek het bruisende Place des Lys, waar de rijken en beroemdheden elkaar ontmoeten, en blader door de uitnodigende eetstalletjes van de levendige Provençaalse markt van St Tropez (alleen op dinsdag). Voordat u terugkeert naar Nice, kunt u genieten van vrije tijd om St-Tropez op uw eigen manier te verkennen, en misschien genieten van een heerlijke lunch in een van de stijlvolle restaurants of cafés (op eigen kosten)

A different rour operator canceled on us and we ended up booking this tour at the last minute - and I'm so glad we did! This was an excellent tour, and our guide/driver, Nicolas, was great! He picked us up on time, kept us on schedule, provided interesting information and history during the tour and drove very well. The Mercedes minivan was spacious and comfortable. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this tour!
It's a little bit boring since we went during the low season in December. There was a lot of driving around but not a lot of things to see.
The vehicle was comfortable and driver/ guide was friendly and informative and was very willing to assist. He spoke good English and had an interesting background. He was a good driver and timely.
These tours should be explained as transportation only. You are picked up, dropped at a village, site or destination for a few hours and then picked up and driven back. No historical information or specific site information provided. The drivers are lovely and chat along the way, but that is what you are paying for. Much better to pay for a private guided tour-money well spent, unless you have no interest in history, etc.
There wasn't much to see in Saint Tropez, unfortunately, as we were stuck in a lot of traffic getting there. However, there were many beautiful yachts and plenty of nice restaurants to choose from. The shopping was not great, as evidenced by the lack of women carrying shopping bags. We could have skipped this tour, as we enjoyed Monaco much more.

Beautiful places. Grimaud is amazing and St. Tropez is a dream. Tarte Tropezienne is delicious!! Driver was a great tour guide and very knowledgeable

Saint Tropez is a beautiful place. But no fault of our driver/guide, our experience was uncomfortable. We had a husband, wife and 9 year old in the van with us. For the entire 2 hour each way drive they spent the whole drive simultaneously conducting endless phone call conversations on their speaker phones. We couldn't hear most of the the local information our guide was trying to pass on to us. I wish I would hade taken the fairy. But there should be a policy where the driver should announce to the guest before the trip starts about being considerate to the other guests on board.

We are a group of 8 New Zealanders staying in Antibes. Xavier collected us from our AirBNB and drove us to St.Tropez.We visited local vineyards and sampled wine at Minuty Vineyard. Xavier was an excellent driver, very informative, great commentary on local history. We would highly recommend a tour with Xavier. The girls enjoyed him so much, we wanted to take him home !
Absolutely spectacular tour and guide - We were captivated by Yann’s genuine passion and love for all things history and culture of his native home, France. We booked our first tour for the Monte Carlo, Monaco & Eze and Yann was such a great host that we booked him for a day trip to St Tropez.
