Een tour met een golfkar is de beste manier om het hele centrum te ervaren en de bezienswaardigheden in het noorden van de koloniale stad te bezoeken. Golfkarretjes bieden gemakkelijke toegang om uit te stappen en foto's te maken; voel de wind en zorg voor een ononderbroken uitzicht op de sites. Neem voor grotere groepen contact met ons op.

Na een korte introductie gaat de tour verder richting het Hotel District. Je gids deelt informatie over het tijdperk van verovering en verkenning. Je zult onder andere het gouverneurshuis, de kathedraalbasiliek van Sint-Augustinus, het Grondwetsmonument observeren.
De oudste parochie in de VS is zichtbaar aan de overkant van de Plaza
Je rijdt door de oudste straat in de VS, ook wel de militaire ziekenhuisstraat genoemd. Deze straat herbergt een aantal musea en cafés.
De beroemde Brug der Leeuwen zal aan de overkant van de straat zichtbaar zijn terwijl je tour verder gaat naar de nummer één attractie in St. Augustine. Deze brug is versierd met vier prachtige leeuwensculpturen en is een icoon van de oudste stad.
Het oudste gemetselde fort in de continentale VS en nummer één attractie in St. Augustine. Het fort dateert uit 1695 en de hele structuur is origineel.
Je rijdt langs de heiligste plek in de VS. Je gids deelt verhalen over deze speciale site. Dit is de geboorteplaats van onze natie en een nationaal heiligdom.
De tour gaat over Magnolia Street (beschouwd als een van de mooiste in de natie en rijdt langs de Fountain of Youth-site. Dit zal een goede gelegenheid zijn om foto's te maken.
Je tour bezoekt de site van de oude gevangenis. Deze gevangenis werd verplaatst van het hoteldistrict. Op verzoek van Henry Flagler werd het verplaatst naar het hotelgebied.
Zal langs de oude protestantse begraafplaats rijden. Als je je ogen open houdt, zie je misschien een geest op deze meest spookachtige locatie.
Je tour neemt je mee rond het voormalige Ponce de Leon Hotel. U zult het meest luxueuze en dure hotel van zijn tijd observeren. Met zijn verbazingwekkende collectie gebrandschilderde ramen van Louis C Tiffany.
U betreedt het gebouw om de site van het grootste overdekte zwembad ter wereld van zijn tijd te bezoeken, gevestigd in het voormalige Alcazar Hotel. Tegenwoordig wordt het gebouw gedeeld tussen het Lightner Museum en het stadhuis van St. Augustine.
De tour gaat langs Lincolnville. Je gids zal verhalen delen over de belangrijke gebeurtenissen van de burgerrechtenbeweging in St. Augustine in de jaren zestig
Je passeert de St Augustine-distilleerderij op weg naar de Flagler Memorial Presbyterian Church. De voormalige ijsfabriek veranderde in een distilleerderij toen ijsproductie overbodig werd.
U zult versteld staan van deze prachtige kerk in het hart van de oudste stad. Gebouwd in minder dan een jaar als een gedenkteken voor de dochter van Henry Flagler.
Je tour gaat verder over de Brug der Leeuwen om langs het Oglethorpe Park te rijden en te genieten van een prachtig uitzicht over de stad vanaf de overkant van de rivier.

This is one of the best tours we’ve ever taken. Didn’t do any research on St Augustine but our guide, Robert, taught me more than I would have learned online. The tour was so educational and we will definitely be back to do all of the things Robert recommended.
Our tour guide Bob, was very friendly and knowledgeable about St Augustine, my husband who is not very interested in touring except on his own was very impressed with this tour. Except for the rapidly dropping temperature outside we thoroughly enjoyed the tour. I would definitely recommend it. St Augustine is an amazing and beautiful city, and now knowing more of its history makes it even more so.
A truly great experience with Robert! His knowledge of historical events and main figures made the ride so much more interesting. We stopped for pictures, and since we were the only passengers, we had the tour and sunset all to ourselves!
Good deal a private tour can be so unique and having Robert to yourselves is fantastic. Next time you may want to try our golf cart ghost tour in the evening.

Cindra was amazing and went out of her way to make sure that as guest we were taken care of. She went above and beyond of being a great host. It started to rain and became a torrential downpour, streets were flooded and it was lightning. Cindra managed to get us all poncho/rain covers to make sure we stayed dry, and safely drove us to the garage to be under cover until the rain let up. It was a fantastic tour. We seem to go all over St. Augustine. We saw beautiful houses and mansions in Lincolnville, Davis shores (Anastasia Island) and even over by Magnolia Street, ( North part of town). We learn history about the arrival of Ponce de Leon, Pedro Menendez, Henry Flagler and the gilded era, Civil Rights period and more. (So much amazing history in St. August) The view over the bridge was beautiful and I learned about the pods of dolphins and the local area and the history. It was enlightening and Cindra was a great host making sure we were safe and enjoyed our experience. Thank you Cindra,

Great overview of St. Augustine. Gives you a good idea of where you may want to stop and visit. Covers a good portion of the city. Our tour guide, Bob, was so knowledgeable and interesting. I highly recommend if you you can request him!
