We konden niet beslissen of we meer van spookverhalen of van waargebeurde misdaadverhalen hielden, dus besloten we ze allebei te doen! Je kunt de geschiedenis (en de geesten) bijna voelen terwijl je door deze 300 jaar oude wijk en voormalige Indiaanse verzamelplaats aan de rivier de Mississippi loopt. DIT is de heilige grond waar eeuwen van onvergetelijke, intense karakters hebben geleefd, liefgehad, gevochten, gevierd, muziek gemaakt en hun laatste adem uitgeblazen. Dergelijke energie verdwijnt niet; sterker nog, het wordt intenser als we hun verhalen vertellen terwijl we door hun straten lopen. We zullen de verhalen met je delen over achtervolgingen, moorden, rituelen, rusteloze geesten, ondeugende geesten en sommige dingen die we gewoon niet kunnen verklaren. Zelfs sceptici zijn dol op deze tour, want iedereen houdt van een goed verhaal! De tour duurt 1,5 - 2 uur en beslaat ongeveer anderhalve kilometer in de wereldberoemde Franse wijk. Kom na het eten en sluit op tijd af voor een avondje stappen in de stad!

Er zijn meer dan 80 vierkante blokken in de oude wijk, en op elk ervan staan zoveel verhalen over passie, verlies, verraad, verlangen, opwinding, hoop en rouw. Je gids laat je kennismaken met de geesten, geesten en criminelen in het eindeloos interessante verleden van New Orleans.

Great tour, best way to get an introduction to the city. Joshua was our guide, he was excellent at giving details while keeping the tour interesting, he has a real knowledge of the city and its history and was great at answering our questions. Great experience!!!

Loved this walking tour! Our guide Joshua was engaging and knowledgeable. We got to see parts of the quarter we wouldn’t have noticed just walking around. Loved the history and the stories. Definitely would recommend!

We had the pleasure of having Libby as our tour guide last night. An amazing story teller, her extreme knowledge and passion of New Orleans and it's history was extremely evident and so interesting. She captivated us with stories of the murderous and scandalous past. With a well-balanced array of eerie ghost and true crime stories, a superb time was had by our group. Tour guides can make or break an experience. Scott was AWESOME! We learned to much about the spooky origins of New Orleans and really appreciated really crime history of the city. So glad we did this one!

It was rather lame with mainly history that most of us were informed of just by google or chat gpt. Joshua was a little rude and did not impress the group with his jokes and gestures. Won’t be doing it again!
