Deze dagtocht biedt een perfecte mix van avontuur, ontspanning en ontdekking. Je krijgt een persoonlijke ervaring. Het startpunt is vanaf het exclusieve Chantauvent Guest House en het privéstrand. Vanaf daar begint uw reis, ontdekt u de grootste lagune van Mauritius en begeeft u zich naar de iconische Ilot-cerf. Zwem, snorkel, geniet van een heerlijke barbecue en creëer dierbare herinneringen aan de ongerepte oevers van Ile aux Cerfs. Vertrek vanuit Chantauvent – ver van de drukke aanlegsteigers, dicht bij de natuur. Ons door een familie gerunde pension, waar de baai al generaties lang ons thuis is. Voel de frisse ochtendbries terwijl we richting de eerste stop varen.
In tegenstelling tot het vasteland dat van vulkanische oorsprong is, bestaat Ile aux Aigrettes uit koraalkalksteen. Het is de thuisbasis van de laatste overblijfselen van droog kustbos, ooit gevonden rond het grootste deel van Mauritius.
We passeren naast het overblijfsel van het scheepswrak de Dalblair. In de noodlottige nacht van 6 op 7 februari 1902 kwam Le Dalblaire – een driemastschip volledig uit staal vervaardigd – vast te zitten tussen de rotsen in Blue Bay. Het schip kwam uit Cardiff in Groot-Brittannië en was op weg naar Port Louis met een lading kolen. Er was een bemanning van 24 man aan boord onder leiding van kapitein McLaren.
Île aux Fouquets (ook bekend als Île au Phare, Vuurtoreneiland) is een eiland voor de zuidoostkust van Mauritius. Het eiland is van zuiver koraal en heeft sinds 5 juni 2004 de status van Islet National Park. Het ligt ongeveer vijf kilometer uit de zuidoostkust in de nabijheid van de eilanden Ilot Vacoas en Île de la Passe.

TOUR HOOGTEPUNTEN: Multi-stops exploratie: Onderweg naar Ile aux Cerfs maken we meerdere stops om de rijke fauna van de lagune te ontdekken en de betoverende eilanden van het zuiden te verkennen. Wees getuige van het bruisende zeeleven en de kustwonderen. Stop onderweg naar Ilot phare voor 30 min. * Chill en BBQ in het paradijs: Geniet van een heerlijke barbecue in een waar eilandparadijs. Ontspan op het strand, geniet van de zon en geniet van heerlijk eten in een van de mooiste omgevingen denkbaar * Snorkelen: Pak je snorkelspullen en verken de onderwaterwereld van de lagune. Bewonder de kleurrijke koraalriffen en ontmoet een divers scala aan mariene soorten.
Glijd door de riviermonding tussen de bomen om deze adembenemende waterval te bereiken, waar zoetwatercascades de zee ontmoeten in een betoverende weergave.
Hier kan uw reis twee paden nemen: ofwel gaat u naar uw taxi, die de herinneringen aan een onvergetelijke dag met u meedraagt, of u blijft wat langer hangen, uw voeten in het warme zand zinkt, nipt aan een verfrissende cocktail en geniet van de laatste gouden stralen van de middag. Geen haast, geen lawaai - gewoon de perfecte afsluiting van een dag doorgebracht in harmonie met de natuur.

Exceptional day. Very nice boat, very good size and very well appointed / equipped. The skipper Lucas is very friendly and speaks very good French. Excellent value for money for the day we spent. We recommend this unique experience.

I had such a great time on this boat tour to Île aux Cerfs and the south of the island. The places we visited were beautiful and full of charm, and I especially liked learning more about the lagoon and the history of Grand Port during the eco-tour. Everything felt really well organized, and a special mention goes to our skipper who was not only very skilled but also super kind and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. Definitely a day I’ll remember!

We had an exceptional family day. Lucka was super friendly and caring with us (thanks for the fresh sea urchin tasting, it was a childhood dream). The program was just perfect: between snorkling and discovering the different islands, we could observe dolphins and see colorful fish and beautiful corals. Lunch on Deer Island was the icing on the cake, what an amazing spot! We were very lucky to have had the boat just for us 4 which made this trip even more special. This sea trip was by far our most beautiful day in Mauritius. Beautiful experience to do without hesitation.

We had an extraordinary day on a boat tour organized from the superb Chantauvent guest house, with an incredible view in the morning! First step: Ile aux Aigrettes, where we took a refreshing swim in a protected natural setting. Then we headed to Ile aux Cerfs, where we enjoyed a delicious lunch surrounded by postcard landscapes. We then snorkeled at Ile aux Aigrettes, in the beautiful Coral Garden lagoon – a real wonder with colorful fish and beautiful corals. Finally, we were able to see the impressive Dalbair, an ancient ship stranded, full of charm and mystery. Throughout the day, drinks, fresh water and snorkelling equipment were provided. Above all, a huge thank you to Luca, our guide: a perfect, warm, professional and passionate pilot. He made this day even more special. An unforgettable excursion that we recommend 100%!

We spent a magical day with our skipper Lucas with a kindness and a rare sense of wish Snorkelling , discovery of the jewels , lunch of the island of deer almost alone in the world . A real treat crowned by an improvised tasting of sea urchins (another one of Lucas’ qualities) straight out of the water A real change of scenery that allowed us to meet as a family in paradise Recommend without hesitation!

This was a really nice experience with a good variation of sites. The guide was really nice and the boat was modern and clean. Unfortunately the lunch was pretty bad. We had specified that we need vegetarian options in the booking and that was not provided for. They even said that they didn’t have time to fix it as they were already on the island which is strange. Other guests were annoyed as there was no accommodations made for dietary requirements. Even for meat eaters the lunch was very basic with not so much food. I would have preferred to pay and eat a better lunch somewhere else.

A truly amazing day on the water! The boat was comfortable, and our captain was so welcoming. We went snorkeling and saw incredible marine life, then visited Île au Phare and Île aux Cerfs for a relaxing swim and walk. Lunch was delicious, with fresh lobsters and fish served right at the water's edge. One of the waiters even played a mini guitar concert for us. Highly recommend this excursion!
