Great experience from start to finish, very insightful. After visiting the viral locations the day before locations on the tour were FAR better and really opened our eyes. We will be back again 💙

Jon is a wonderful guide! The tour was a wonderful way to learn about San Sebastian Basque and food culture! Jon curated a tour that builds over the evening starting with the market, introduction to the Gastronomy Club Culture, a new school Basque food presentation and a traditional Basque food presentation, ending the evening with a Basque dessert. All paired perfectly with local wines and ciders enhancing each bite. Jon is the reason the tour is so special- his energy is contagious, he encouraged us to get out of our comfort zones and to try some amazing food while also assuring special diet needs were considered. Jon is an excellent teacher- by the end- we not only had a wonderful evening, our appetites completely satisfied but learned about San Sebastian history and food culture. A must do!

What an amazing experience! From the second we met John we knew we were in for a treat! He was so friendly and excited to show us his city. We tasted amazing food and wine, saw amazing sites and really learned a lot about the culture of San Sabastian. Even my kids loved him! I couldn’t recommend his tour any more!!!

Very nice guide Sebastián who took us out. It was the busiest day of the year in San Sebastian but it was perfectly arranged. A table was reserved in the various tapas restaurants. More than enough food with delicious local wines. Any tips for the next trip! Highly recommended

My boyfriend and I did this tour and had an amazing time! Our guide Sebastian was a lot of fun, and even told us a lot about the history of the city of San Sebastián. There were five in our group and we all got on really well, even watched the fireworks together after the tour had ended! We had the best night of our trip with Sebastian and our group. Highly recommend if you want to learn about the city, immerse yourself in the gastronomic culture and have a blast while doing it! Goes without saying, the food was also incredible 😋

Me and wife love food tours. Was very excited to have the opportunity to try pintxos with insider knowledge. The tour was a great introduction to the old town and we left full of delicious food that covered a wide range of flavors. There were lots of crowds and tight spaces for my size but it was cozy and worth any discomfort.

It ended up being a group of five on this tour and our guide Sebastian was nothing less than spectacular! He is passionate about Donostia, the Basque Country, and the food and drink in the region. He gave us lots of history, took us to places we wouldn't have been, and treated us like family from the start. If you're wondering what the food scene is all about, the gastronomy, the market, and old town, and you want to try lots of good pinxtos and drink, this tour is well worth the money. I was a little reluctant booking because of the price, but I would have paid a little more because the experience was that good. And a big part of that was because of Sebastian. Thanks again!
