Uw Wellington Half Day tour is speciaal voor u, uw familie en vrienden gemaakt. Wij zijn Jo & Suzee, uw gepassioneerde Wellingtonians. We laten u kennismaken met het Wellington waar de lokale bevolking dol op is. Ontdek het prachtige landschap, onze lokale gerechten en hoor fantastische verhalen van onze funky hoofdstad. Rijd met de iconische kabelbaan, bekijk de stranden en geniet van het prachtige uitzicht vanaf de windturbine of de uitkijkpost Mt Victoria. Als Eigenaar / operator gidsen, zijn wij uw lokale vriend voor de dag - bereid je voor op lachen, echte gesprekken, ontdekking en onvergetelijke herinneringen. • Uw tour is privé; ophalen & wegbrengen inbegrepen, we halen u weg van de drukte. • Wij bieden flexibele routes die verder gaan dan de reisgidsen; u krijgt een goed gevoel van leven in Wellington. • Wees comfortabel; ontspannen in onze milieuvriendelijke voertuigen en pak lokale lekkernijen uit de koelbox. Geniet van een adembenemend uitzicht van 360 graden over de stad en de haven. We zullen flexibel zijn om aan uw behoeften te voldoen, u kunt bijvoorbeeld Mt Victoria bezoeken als alternatief of tweede uitkijkpunt.
Bekijk de wilde stranden aan de zuidkust, met goed uitzicht op het Zuidereiland (als het weer het toelaat). Bezoek het Te Kopahou Reserve bezoekerscentrum. Je kunt zelfs dolfijnen zien.
In de Weta-grot kom je oog in oog te staan met personages, rekwisieten en displays van je favoriete films. De meer diepgaande workshopreizen van Weta moeten vooraf worden gereserveerd en de kosten zijn extra. Vraag ons voor meer informatie.
Bekijk de zee, zand en wind in Oriental Bay. Bewonder de huizen die op de heuvel boven ons speciaal gebouwde strand in de binnenstad liggen.
Rijd door Thorndon, de oudste buitenwijk van NZ. Bezoek de parlementsgebouwen, de oude St Paul's Cathedral en de botanische tuinen, afhankelijk van de tijd.
Berijd de kabelbaan zonder in de rij te hoeven staan voor kaartjes. Bekijk de uitzichten en het kabelbaanmuseum.

Ophaallocaties en -tijden
Laat ons uw voorkeurs ophaallocatie weten, bijvoorbeeld de haven, de luchthaven of uw accommodatie. Cruiseschip passagiers : Haven ophalen en afzetten is inbegrepen. We passen onze timing aan om de dienstregeling van uw schip te halen, indien nodig. Afzetten in de stad, met routebeschrijving naar de shuttlebussen, is ook beschikbaar. Onafhankelijke reizigers : Wij halen u op van uw centraal gelegen accommodatie. Als u een pick-up van ergens anders wilt, vraag dan. We ended up in Wellington unexpectedly when our cruise ship was rerouted due to weather. We were alerted one day prior while on the ship. We were so glad we were able to grab this tour! We had an amazing day. Our guide Suzee was fun, knowledgeable and knew the area well so we could make the most of our day. We were a group of 4 and we all felt it was great and would highly recommend!
One of the beauties of our tours, is that we always adjust what we do to match the weather, making sure you make the most of your time in Wellington. So it was a lovely bonus to host the four of you. And go you for booking as soon as the ship changed its' schedule, that was a winner for all of us. Thank you also for taking the time to write your review. My husband and I had a wonderful half day tour of Wellington with Jo. Arranging the tour before leaving home was so easy. Suzee responded immediately with answers to my many questions. We were picked up right outside the ship and had a wonderful tour to see the highlights of the Wellington area. We left it entirely up to Jo to make the plan and it was perfect. She also gave us the opportunity to stop at a pharmacy to make a purchase and at a store to purchase some Whittaker's chocolate bars. The car was comfortable and clean and snacks and drinks were provided. I can't say enough about how happy I was with this experience. My only regret was not doing a full day tour. I highly recommend spending some time in Wellington with Suzee or Jo of uTours. I am so glad we did.

Suzee is very friendly and knowledgeable and is passionate about showing people her city and sharing about life in Wellington. She began communicating with us shortly after we booked her tour and together we mapped out our day. Suzee gave great recommendations for our itinerary, combining our desires and her local knowledge to make the best use of our time. She took us to a local store for souvenir shopping, which was perfect for what we were looking for. While driving along the coast, she spotted dolphins and pulled over so we could watch them. We really enjoyed our day with Suzee and highly recommend her to anyone who wants to have an amazing day seeing Wellington.

Had a lovely day seeing the sights of Wellington with Suzee. Given the fact that the weather was overcast and raining, most of the tour, Suzee brought her sunny personality to help make our day fun. From the beginning, when I first booked the tour, Suzee was great with communicating. I've never had a tour guide be as organized as Suzee. I knew exactly what to expect when we would arrive at our tour destination. On tour day, she was on time and waiting for us at the port. We were able to get a good insight of the workings of Wellington with all of her knowledge. Our parting gift, CHOCOLATES from Whittakers and a shopping bag, was a nice touch. I highly recommend this tour and would do it again. Thank you Suzee for making our day special and entertaining.

Suzee planned the perfect half day+ tour of Wellington. She made excellent choices for our short stay and her narration of the city spot on. After the tour, our group of 4 friends was planning to dine at Shed 5 and Suzee convinced us to have a casual lunch with her of meat pies and cheese scones. Both Wellington staples. WOW! Yummy and her café choice along the beach front was perfect. Suzee is an excellent guide and representative of Wellington. We so enjoyed our time with. Whether staying in Wellington or just have a short cruise stop, I highly recommend this tour.

Nothing about Wellington struck us as a "must see' or "must do" activity, so we went with a half day tour. Sussie's knowledge of the area and her ability to read our interests and adjust the itinerary around them resulted in a fun, on formative and enjoyable day.
