Tijdens deze tour ontdekt u enkele van de meest iconische bezienswaardigheden van de stad. We beginnen bij de Calgary Tower en gaan daarna naar Chinatown, een van de oudste en meest levendige wijken van Calgary. We vervolgen onze tocht naar de Stampede Overlook, een gebied dat bekend is vanwege de Calgary Stampede, waar u kunt genieten van een panoramisch uitzicht. Op een steenworp afstand vindt u het historische Confluence Park en vervolgens het Wonderland Sculpture, een modern kunstwerk dat met zijn unieke en kleurrijke vorm de verbeelding prikkelt. Vervolgens gaan we naar de Peace Bridge, een iconische en moderne voetgangersbrug over de Bow River, met betoverende uitzichten en prachtige architectuur. Ten slotte komen we aan bij Olympic Park, waar de Olympische Winterspelen van 1988 werden gehouden. Dit is nu een prachtig recreatiepark, waar u meer kunt leren over de sportgeschiedenis van Calgary en tegelijkertijd kunt genieten van de natuur.

2 couples from Australia arrived in Calgary with no advance knowledge of what we would find. We took the Mango tour just to familiarise ourselves with Calgary and it exceeded our expectations. Martin was our guide and arrived in an immaculate vehicle and tailored the outing to suit our needs. He was very informative and we had a great and relaxing tour around Calgary.
I booked this tour wanting a glimpse of Calgary and thought 3 hours would be sufficient. This tour is offered in English and Spanish. What we got for 3 hours was an excellent tour. My wife and I had a personal tour of the city by Martin - a young and energetic guide who has a great knowledge of the history of Calgary as well as a way to guide you through all of the sights within the 3-hours (actually extended tour for an extra 15 minutes to take in sights of some of the neighborhood. We were taken downtown, an overlook of the city, major attractions, the Calgary Stampede, city parks, the public library, Calgary Tower, two universities and Olympic Park (a must-see is the Eau Claire park where we walked around for 20 minutes or so - the park is fabulous including its acclaimed Peace Bridge. I would highly recommend this tour at the beginning of your stay in Calgary. Oriented us well for the rest of the stay. Thanks again Martin.
In addition to the wonderful explanation of every part of Calgary, I look for the most notable places to admire from afar. They have an excellent understanding of past and recent history, making the tour very unique. Despite the rain, everything ran smoothly. When I return to Calgary, I will hire them again. They are exceptional!
