An excellent tour. Certainly a full day. Ledo was an articulate, knowledgeable and informative guide who gave a very interesting and thought-provoking insight into life in the Johannesburg area.
We had a great and educational tour, learning about the history that shaped South Africa. Our guide was passionate, knowledgeable and kind. It was great to be picked up at our hotel and have reliable, safe transportation around the city. we had a great barbecue lunch while waiting for my daughter to bungee jump between the Soweto/Orlando Towers. My kids learned a great deal, shaping our understanding of the history of the world and realizing that this understanding helps us incite appreciation and change for our future.
This tour was bittersweet for me. I booked the tour for me and my adult son however, my son ended up very sick and couldn’t attend the tour. Aside from that, the tour was great! My guide Lebo could not have been any more AMAZING! He was kind, with a quiet demeanor but he wasn’t quiet at all. He was so well informed and shared so much information about the places we went and the things that I saw. I really enjoyed talking with him. Since my son was sick and missed out on the activities of the Joberg part of our trip, we may have to visit Joberg again in the future. If so, I would not hesitate to book this tour again! This tour was recommended by a friend. Thanks to Thepo, we saw so much of Joburg and Soweto we otherwise would have missed. He showed us downtown neighborhoods and important landmarks before taking us around Soweto and joining us for a delicious braai. Trip ended at the Apartheid Museum. Standing in historic places during the anti-apartheid movement was quite emotional. I'm really glad we took this tour.
Lebo was my guide for the day and he was EXCELLENT!! So incredibly knowledgeable and happily shared his knowledge about Johannesburg. I only had 1 day in Johannesburg and this day trip was perfect for me. I got to experience the history of the city under Lebo’s expert guidance. The tour was the perfect length for a stopover trip, and good value for money. Pick up and drop off, as well as communication, was seamless. Definitely recommend.

If you only have a day in Johannesburg, this is the perfect hour to take It covers all of the main sites you would want to visit. The pick up was on time. The driver/guide was very informative. The stop for lunch was very good and reasonable. Definitely a hood choice.
With a limited amount of time in Johannesburg, we felt our time on this tour was very well-spent. Our guide and driver was informative and helpful. providing a balanced and useful introduction to South Africa's recent history. We covered a lot of ground: driving through the Soweto township, visiting the Nelson Mandela House and Hector Pieterson Memorial, and then on to the Apartheid Museum, which was a sobering and moving experience. Following lunch at the museum, we drove through the city's central business district, with our guide explaining the city's development and origins as a gold-mining center, as illustrated through various monuments there. Then it was on to Constitution Hill, where we toured the prison where human rights activists and others were detained in appalling conditions, and then took a look inside the adjacent Constitutional Court building. All in all, a very full and interesting day. Highly recommended.
This was an excellent tour, as we only had one day, before flying home. Our driver/ guide was very informative and passionate about sharing his knowledge. We saw a lot of points of interest.
