Trakteer uw smaakpapillen op een cultureel feest in het centrum van Savannah. Al etend door de stad maak je op een unieke manier kennis met de stadsindeling en geschiedenis. Deze Savannah-foodtour omvat alle overheerlijke hapjes en fascinerende stukjes geschiedenis van de stad. We bieden voldoende tijd om onderweg cocktails en sterke dranken te bestellen en te betalen. We doen ons uiterste best om gasten met dieetproblemen en vooral voedselallergieën tegemoet te komen, maar houd er rekening mee dat sommige restaurants een beperkt aantal artikelen beschikbaar hebben. Tours zijn 3 uur durende proeverijen en wandeltochten waarbij u kunt genieten van een opwindende eetervaring terwijl u door de pleinen en de historische wijk van de Hostess City of the South wandelt. Rondleidingen zijn geschikt voor alle leeftijden. *Alcoholische dranken zijn niet bij de ticketprijs inbegrepen.

Ons team maakt al meer dan 20 jaar begeleide wandeltochten door het historische centrum van Savannah. Na vele jaren eerder in de culinaire scene van Savannah te hebben doorgebracht, was het logisch om de twee te combineren. Savannah's foodie gezien heeft echt een vlucht genomen en we wilden onze eigen draai aan Southern Flavours laten zien. Tijdens een wandeling door de stadspleinen en het historische district van de binnenstad. Zo is Southern Flavours of Savannah geboren.
Onze WANDELtochten bestrijken de gebieden tussen Broughton Street en River Street. Ons doel is om u een voorproefje te geven van enkele van uw nieuwe Savannah-favorieten. We hebben een diverse eetcultuur die meer dan alleen onze zuidelijke keuken in de schijnwerpers zet. Onze tour bevat smaken van over de hele wereld die worden aangeboden door een overvloed aan restaurants die hier in onze Hostess-stad beschikbaar zijn. Je hebt een hele dag vol smaken terwijl je je tegoed doet aan 6 verschillende locaties om je te laten proeven van onze favoriete gerechten in de stad. We zullen enkele lokale juweeltjes laten zien die schitteren in die zuidelijke zon. In ongeveer 3 uur heb je een heel nieuw idee van zuidelijke smaken en savanne-charme. Terwijl je loopt, leer je over de lange en fascinerende geschiedenis van Savannah als de gastvrouwstad van Georgië in het zuiden. Van de eerste houten schepen die de Atlantische Oceaan overstaken tot de geheime geschiedenis van de stad, we zullen alles over Savannah vertellen. Vanwege het aantal restaurants dat Savannah te bieden heeft, worden onze haltes vaak gerouleerd.
Foodtours worden in een rustig tempo uitgevoerd, houd er rekening mee dat we bij regen of zonneschijn touren.

Christina was fabulous. We ended up having a private tour and we appreciated that it wasn’t cancelled since it was only two of us. Christina knows her stuff, the staff love her (her snackle box is awesome), and she was a joy to have as a guide. We had 6 stops which is a big plus for a food tour. Lots of variety. I am gluten free and each place was accommodating with more than just a salad to replace the sample. I would HIGHLY recommend this tour!
We enjoyed this food tour. We had a good guide and we only had one other couple on the tour with us. Having only 4 people to enjoy the tour was awesome! Our guide was knowledgeable and very funny. I will say when she shared the actual historical facts though, she sped through sharing everything and spoke in a very monotonous tone. I think this is because she’s been leading tours for 10+ years and gives them 7 days a week. Either way, it was hard to follow her when she spoke like this. My main issue with this tour though is that I’m a foodie and I wouldn’t take any of my friends to these places if they were newcomers to Savannah. I’ve only been two times before, but we went to a small chain bagel store, a dive bar, a commercial brewery, a restaurant inside of a hotel and a chain southern dessert spot. None of the bites were terribly impressive. And none of the places seemed that local or unique to Savannah. I’ve been on some awesome food tours in Charleston with truly special, local bites. I feel for a small tour company, they have an opportunity for improvement.
After having been on other walking food tours, the tour only included a few sentences of history or jokes between every stop. We had 6 small appetizers that were mostly fried bar food that were mostly sports bars and ended with dessert.
Great food, great tour guide (Christina). Very knowledgeable & funny. This was a great way to meet people, try the different foods in the area, and without feeling rushed. Christina had are safety in her best interest and made sure we had fun.
Book it! We were there for a weekend with sisters, nieces and Mom . Be ready to be entertained! Our guide, Christina, was hysterical and knew her city. Our tour was just the 8 of us, because two were not able to make it. The pub stops were great and gave you a break from the oppressive heat. She gave us the name of "KK broke tour" after my hysterical niece.
Christina was a great tour guide and led us to delicious food and cool drinks. She is a wealth of history and very open to questions and giving the rest of the story!
You learn a lot about Savannah's history and Christina was very informative, amusing and we enjoyed our tour.
Super worth the money. Our guide Christine was super great! Even took us to some great shops after we asked what her favorite shops were!
Parents with 2 adult children. We all had a great time. Christina was a fabulous guide. She was entertaining. The bars were great. The drinks were great (but be earned the food is included in the price but the beverages besides water are not). The food bites were great. Filling but not overstuffed by the end of the tour. Well worth the time and the cost.
This was such a fun tour with some interesting history and a great sample of food. Christina was amazing!
