Ervaar de adembenemende schoonheid van IJslands zuidkust tijdens deze dagtour vanuit Reykjavík. Begin bij Skógafoss, een waterval van 60 meter die bekend staat om zijn mist en regenbogen. Ga verder naar het charmante dorpje Vík, gelegen langs de kust met zijn pittoreske zwarte zandstranden en dramatische kliffen. Bezoek Reynisfjara, beroemd om zijn opvallende basaltzuilen en krachtige golven, met een panoramisch uitzicht op de ruige kustlijn. Reis naar Sólheimajökull, een gletsjertong die zich uitstrekt van de Mýrdalsjökull-gletsjer, en bewonder de serene gletsjerlagune met drijvende ijsbergen. Sluit af met Seljalandsfoss, een prachtige waterval waar je achter het water kunt lopen voor een uniek perspectief en fotomoment. Na een dag vol natuurwonderen en onvergetelijke bezienswaardigheden kunt u ontspannen op de terugreis naar Reykjavík. Ontmoetingspunt voor de tour.
De Skógafoss, een beroemde IJslandse waterval, is het startpunt van de Fimmvörðuháls-trail naar Þórsmörk. De waterval werd ook gebruikt in de films Thor: The Dark World en The Secret Life of Walter Mitty.

Seljalandsfoss is onderdeel van de Seljandsá-rivier, die haar oorsprong vindt in de Eyjafjallajökull-gletsjer. Wat Seljalandsfoss zo beroemd en interessant maakt, is dat u er achterlangs kunt lopen. Wij raden u aan een regen- of waterdichte jas mee te nemen als u er achterlangs wilt lopen.

• Zorg ervoor dat je minimaal 30 minuten voor vertrek bij het door jou aangewezen opstappunt bent. Onze pick-up voertuigen zijn goed gemarkeerd met de Reykjavik Excursies. • Elke chauffeur heeft een paar haltes, dus het kan tot 30 minuten duren om iedereen op te halen, dus u hoeft zich geen zorgen te maken als de bus er niet meteen is.

It is a long day but well worth it. A great tour with ample time in each of the numerous stops. The waterfalls are breathtaking. Tip: wear shoes that can get wet.

Fantastic all-day experience.
An amazing experience for me and my daughter plus some friends on our visit to Iceland. From the start, the tour guide was knowledgeable and informative. Each stop was just long enough to get up close and personal with this amazing country. There were options to sit and relax close to the bus or walk up and around the sights. The bus itself was a rough road version. It was clean and comfortable and we had a great view due to it's boosted height. We started at 9am and ended at the bus stop after 7pm so it was a long day but it went quickly because of the amazing sights we saw. We would thoughrogly reccommend it to any group of family or friends. Thank you !

Magnus, the bus driver, drove us safely and relaxed along the south coast to the highlights along the way. Rosemarie, the tour guide, accompanied the tour competently and with humor.
