Zuidkust Sagas: Tour met kleine groep met pick-up vanuit Reykjavik

Bent u klaar voor een buitengewoon avontuur? Ga met ons mee op onze South Coast tour, waar je wordt ondergedompeld in een wereld van adembenemende schoonheid bij elke bocht. Als we naar het zuiden reizen, zien we prachtige gletsjers, landbouwgronden en vulkanen aan de ene kant en de prachtige glinstering van de Westmaneilanden aan de andere kant. We bezoeken de beroemde Seljalandsfoss waterval. Als het goed weer is, kunnen we achter het water lopen en de kracht ervan voelen. We zullen ook Gljúfrabúi zien, afhankelijk van het weer. Vervolgens gaan we naar Skógarfoss, een enorme waterval die 60 meter daalt. Daarna bereiken we Vík í Mýrdal, een populaire stad, waar we stoppen voor de lunch. Daarna bezoeken we de zwarte zandstranden van Reynisfjara en genieten van het unieke landschap. We volgen de Viking Trail langs de kust naar de Sólheimajökull-gletsjer, waar we dicht bij het ijs komen en van het uitzicht genieten voordat we teruggaan naar Reykjavik. Gletsjerwandelingen zijn niet inbegrepen. U zult genieten van deze dag van het verkennen in een kleine groep, comfortabel reizen in een minibus.

We gaan naar de kerk waar we prachtige foto's kunnen maken;
Het bekendste zwarte zandstrand van IJsland, met opvallende basaltzuilen en krachtige golven. Lunchpauze inbegrepen (de Gids kan een alternatieve locatie kiezen, afhankelijk van het weer of de menigte)
We maken een stop bij Sólheimajökull om de gletsjer van dichtbij te bewonderen, zonder erop te wandelen.

Ophaallocaties en -tijden
- Het ophaalproces begint om 8.30 uur en gaat door tot ongeveer 9.00 uur, terwijl we passagiers van verschillende locaties ophalen. Wij verzoeken u vriendelijk om uiterlijk 08.30 uur op de door u gekozen ophaallocatie aanwezig te zijn. Het is belangrijk dat we uw e-mailadres bij ons hebben, zodat we u 30 minuten vóór de geplande ophaaltijd een e-mail kunnen sturen. In deze e-mail vindt u een beschrijving van onze auto, inclusief foto en kenteken. In de e-mail vermelden wij ook de naam van de gids. Onze chauffeur-gids stopt altijd, stapt uit de auto en gaat naar u op zoek. Ze verlaten het ophaalpunt niet, tenzij ze je niet kunnen vinden. - Als u in het centrum van Reykjavik verblijft en u vindt de naam van uw hotel niet in de lijst, dan hebben wij u nodig om de bushalte te gebruiken die bij uw accommodatie hoort. Deze bushaltes zijn door de stad Reykjavik aangelegd om het verkeer van bussen en grotere voertuigen in de soms smalle straatjes in de oudere delen van Reykjavik te beperken.

Great tour of the South Coast. Our guide, Diogo, took great care of us and was very knowledgeable. It was a great day weather wise. Plenty of time was allotted for each stop and the ride was comfortable despite the 10 hour day.
Great tour and well worth the money. Was so easy getting picked up from our hotel and having an expert drive us to all the beautiful spots of the south coast. I was a little concerned when I had initially read it was a 10 hour tour as that seemed like a lot of time on a bus however I was pleasantly surprised that we actually spent a decent amount of time at every location and it was just a 10 hr bus drive. It was the perfect amount of time. Simon the spicy Viking was very funny and informative. He perfectly balanced talking & teaching us about Iceland while also allowing us our own time to process & chill. The bus was comfortable. The group was a small reasonable size.
EastWest was my favorite tour company in Iceland. Our guide Diago was incredibly knowledgeable warm and friendly. He understood more than far more that the basic. It was great exploring the south coast with him. He made our day special.

All stops top notch with sufficient time to enjoy. Great varied scenery! Guide Carlos the best we've encountered anywhere. Our trip was spectacular. The locations were amazing. Mikala was very funny and informative. She took the extra effort to kindly return an item I had left on the bus which relieved my stress at the end of a very full day.

We were impressed with our guide/driver who made every effort to explain the history and significance of what we were seeing. We ran into severe weather conditions and he expertly navigated through, adjusting the schedule as we went.
