Mis geen dag op Tip Top Catamaran! Het is een mooie dag op de oceaan. We doen twee verschillende snorkelplekken, lunch aan boord, open bar en zeilen langs de kustlijn.

Je zult voor het instappen rijden op Eric Tours International.
We halen je op van Puerto Plata, Sosua en Cabarete, de ophaaltijd vanaf Puerto Plata is om 8:00 uur, Cabarete om 08:40 en vanuit Sosua om 09:00 uur. We starten de tour vanaf het strand in Sosua, waar de bemanning en een 75 voet catamaran op je wachten. Tijdens de ochtend heb je de gelegenheid om de onderwaterwereld van Dominicaanse Republiek te zien, we maken twee stops op verschillende riffen, waar je kunt snorkelen of een duik kunt nemen en jezelf kunt opfrissen. Je krijgt snorkelspullen en een snorkelvest. Na het snorkelen zullen we het grootzeil optrekken en langs de kust zeilen. De lunch wordt geserveerd en de bar is open. We varen naar Ocean World Marina, dat zich buiten Puerto Plata bevindt en van daaruit zullen we je terugbrengen met taxi naar je hotel.

Great communication from Nathalie from the time you book your trip. I had the opposite experience with another tour operator in the area. Sadly the day we were going to depart , there was intermittent rain and the chop on the water was a bit rough. I figured I was going to lose my money, but I decided to cancel our booking as I did not think my family would enjoy the trip under those conditions. I emailed them to let them know and much to my surprise they said they understood and would refund my money. I will defenitly rebook with them next time I’m in Sousa. Thanks again for the great customer service!!!! So sad never got to go
The staff were friendly and accommodating.. the food was delicious . The first reef had a lot to see but at the second stop there was not much to see. Overall it was an excellent experience!!
Highly recommended! We snorkeled at 2 locations then sailed around the coast for about 2 hours. Great staff! Great time

In December I had the pleasure of sharing this tour with some friends. It was a rocky day, but a beautiful day. Everyone enjoyed the snorkelling, the tunes, the breeze, the views and the food. My friends enjoy the ocean so it was an easy sell for sure, sunshine, great drinks, and laughter....we had a blast.

Booked this catamaran trip because it was the longest available on Viator at 7 hours (and therefore most expensive). From hotel pickup to dropoff, we were gone less than 5 hours, but the trip is advertised as 7 hours. This was very disappointing. Hotel pickup from Sosua was short drive to beach in Sosua where we boarded the catamaran. Trip itself was great, crew was super friendly. The drive back from Puerto Plata to Sosua was horrendous. The bus was completely full and air conditioning was non functioning, with no opening windows, so it was exteremely HOT for the whole 45+ minute drive. The AC seemed to be working for the front 1 or 2 rows, but not the rest of the bus. My friend and I were ill with signs of heat stroke for the rest of the day. The other excursions that we did during this vacation all provided air conditioned transportation.
Hi Heather, thank you for your feedback. I am really sorry about your bad experience with the transportation back to the hotel. We will have the bus company check their buses. I have already change the total duration to 6 to 7 hours instead, because it all depends on if you are staying in Puerto Plata, Cabarete or Sosua and how strong the wind is when you are sailing from Sosua to Ocean World Marina.
