Een ongerepte archipel ten zuiden van het schiereiland Sorrento: Li Galli. Er zijn drie eilanden die Li Galli vormen: Gallo Lungo, La Rotonda en Dei Briganti, de laatste beter bekend als La Castelluccia. De archipel maakt deel uit van het beschermde gebied Punta Campanella en valt binnen de gemeente Positano. Als je de omtrek van de archipel van bovenaf bekijkt, zie je blijkbaar de figuur van een dolfijn of, als je trouw wilt blijven aan de mythe, de staart van een zeemeermin.
Amalfi, waaraan de kust van Amalfi zijn naam ontleent, presenteert zich aan toeristen als een fantastische plek, rijk aan geschiedenis, een van de oude maritieme republiek en moderniteit, in nauw contact met de natuur. Het klimaat is mediterraan; de Heilige Patroon is Sint Andreas de Apostel.
Een barst in de rots, ondergedompeld in de wilde natuur die een klein strand van slechts 25 meter omlijst: zo ziet de Furore Fjord eruit, een klein natuurlijk juweeltje in het hart van de kust van Amalfi.
De stad Positano is vooral beroemd om zijn smalle en karakteristieke straatje vol met vele boetiekjes en handwerkwinkels die vandaag de dag nog steeds, net als in de jaren 60, sandalen op maat maken.

Very fun trip. Particularly enjoyed the swimming and boat.
A great experience and a relaxing boat tour along the coast. We had Giovanni as our skipper and a young, extremely nice assistant who explained everything. The pickup from the hotel was punctual and perfect. The driver was as well.
It good if you go out of high season. There's a lot of people around and you can t enjoy. You ll have 1.5 hours in positano and analfi. It s not enough time to see it properly

We booked a private tour along the Amalfi Coast with the company Max Travel. Our driver and tour guide Alessandro picked us up from our hotel in Maiori. We had chosen the towns of Sorrento, Positano and Ravello as destinations. On the way there we came one after the other through many small and very beautiful villages. Alessandro knew how to tell an interesting story about each village or coastline. So he showed us the house and favorite restaurant of Sophia Loren in Praiano. Since we don't speak Italian and he doesn't speak English, Google translator had to play the interpreter. That also worked out very well. Sorrento is a beautiful town, we had on a hill a breathtaking view of the sea and the surrounding area. By car, Alessandro slowly led us through the lower city in Positano and showed us the most beautiful corners and alleys with the bustle of their visitors. Alone, we would never have been able to explore the many streets of this beautiful district. After a very delicious lunch in a restaurant in Praiano under lemon trees (we ate lemon risotto) we visited the high-altitude small town of Ravello with its many typical ceramic shops. Overall, thanks to Alessandro, we spent a wonderful day experiencing the beauty and diversity of the Amalfi Coast. A few days later, we went to the Sal de Riso confectionery in Minori, located on the waterfront, which Alessandro had recommended to us before. Wonderful experience. Great way to see Positano and Amalfi without staying there. Plenty of time to grab a panini and caffé and explore around. We went out on a windy day and our captain was an expert at navigating the weather. We felt so safe and enjoyed the beautiful views from the boat with an ice cold Peroni in hand. Worth every euro.

Absolutely fabulous boat day. Favorite day of the trip. The views are absolutely amazing. The captain was very good. Boat was good size and we spent about an 1.5 hr in amalfi first then 1.5 hr in positano. It really was lovely. Also got offered some wine and limoncello. Water, snacks. They stop last in a little cove to swim! It was so amazing. Highly recommend

Great experience. Got picked up and dropped off which was great. The boat ride and staff were fantastic. Spending time on land not as much as it was very hectic. Would have stayed the whole time on the boat. Had free time to swim but unfortunately we don’t know how so we enjoyed the views and calmness of the water. Would recommend tour.
