Tijdens deze tour kunt u genieten van een pittoreske begeleide tour van 3 uur op een elektrische fiets vanuit het zuiden van Marseille naar de Sormiou Calanque, gelegen in Calanques National Park. Fiets langs de smalle, steile inhammen tussen de kalkstenen bergen en de Middellandse Zee. Ontdek deze unieke natuurlijke omgeving op een comfortabele elektrische fiets. Deze ervaring is het beste voor deelnemers in goede gezondheid die op een fiets kunnen rijden. Dankzij de elektrische kracht van uw fiets kunt u sneller grotere afstanden afleggen en met minder inspanning dan op een gewone fiets. Er zijn meerdere vertrektijden beschikbaar, waaronder vertrek in de ochtend, waardoor dit een ideale optie is voor een kustexcursie terwijl u in Marseille verblijft.

We volgen hier een waterkanaal en het kasteel van Pastré. Veel schaduw en mooi uitzicht op de stad, de zee en de kliffen rondom.
Sormiou is de mooiste Calanques die je gemakkelijk kunt bereiken vanuit Marseille. U vindt een kleine haven, een mooi strand, een restaurant, een prachtig uitzicht op het Nationaal Park, de Middellandse Zee, de stad Marseille; We hebben verschillende routes en opties om de Calanques te bereiken. Afhankelijk van de groepswiches en het niveau kunnen we naar Sormiou gaan of alleen naar de ViewPoints.

The booking was canceled by the provider about 20 minutes before the start time. They attempted to call me on WhatsApp literally 20 minutes before the start. I showed up at the bike shop but was told they didn’t have enough people signed up. I spent 30 minutes on a ferry boat to get to the meeting location. And then I had to take the ferry back to the city center. Viator should discontinue doing business with this unscrupulous vendor.
It was an extraordinary half-day that exceeded our expectations. The journey seems difficult, but with the electric bikes, it is a real charm. Louis was an extraordinary guide, very patient and kind to everyone. It was well worth every dollar invested in this activity.
Simply amazing! Our family group of 9 was welcomed and greeted by the wonderful guides. We are very familiar with mountain biking but even so the guides took the time explain the ride, terrain, and route. Exceptional safety measures were take for our youngest riders (ages 12-9 years of age). Definitely recommend this experience to anyone wanting to experience nature and the city!
Was a lovely day cycling by the coast and sea! The bikes are really good quality so the hill climbs were easily done and Elena was a great guide!!
Elena, our guide was kind and knowledgeable. She made sure we knew how to work the e bikes. I, nor my 12 and 14 year olds, have never used an E-bike before but it was easy to catch on and made the trip up the hill a breeze. Swimming in the Mediterranean after the climb was magical.

We had the best day riding through Calanques National Park! Our guide Elena was amazing. She carefully explained how to use the ebikes and the team at the shop helped get our large group (4 adults and 5 teenage boys) organized and outfitted with bikes and helmets and water. The bikes are in excellent condition and the turbo mode made the steep hills a breeze! Elena was super professional, friendly, and really good at helping us navigate the busy city roads and national park road/trail. We highly recommend EVTT and Elena in particular!

The wheels are initially adjusted to the size and a helmet is handed out. Afterwards you will be introduced to the use of the electric drive of mountain bikes. I for one am quite tall (1.98m), which delayed the selection of the helmet and the bike slightly. Then begins the beautiful tour through a national park and green parts of the city. Our group consisted of 10 people (about 26-36 years), which turned out to be a pleasant group size and made the trip pleasant. In between, breaks are made to impart local knowledge of the place/region/flora and fauna. We found this to be very helpful, humorous and informative. So we were able to classify what was seen well. There is a half-hour break to stay in Calanque Sormiou. As a small improvement suggestion, we only noticed the stability of the seat height adjustment. It has repeatedly adjusted due to the rough ride and had to be readjusted manually. Otherwise, it should be mentioned that sportswear facilitates mobility, since the tour is sporty. Water must be brought by yourself. Overall, a really great experience, which we definitely recommend if you like it sporty and want to experience Marseilles surroundings and nature in a different way.
Perfectly organized outing. The bikes were in perfect condition. Watch out for people who lack balance there is quite a difference in level.
