Snorkelen met kleine groepen in Abades Bay met erkende gids
Beschrijving
Abades is een plaatselijk dorp aan de oostkust van het eiland, weg van het toeristische gebied. Dit maakt het een rustige omgeving, met een rustig, natuurlijk zandstrand. Omdat vissen hier verboden is en er aan de oppervlakte niet veel beweging is, zoals zwemmers en bootverkeer, is de oceaan hier vol leven, dat je dicht bij de kust aantreft. Onze snorkelplekken zijn gemakkelijk bereikbaar vanaf dit strand, dat we op een minuut lopen van ons duikcentrum vinden. Als u na het snorkelen nog iets wilt eten of drinken, vindt u direct aan het gezellige plein voor ons centrum kleine restaurants met buitenterrassen en een supermarkt. Niet-snorkers zullen genieten van het strand.

Als u opgehaald wilt worden op uw duikdag, laat ons dan weten waar u opgehaald wilt worden, dan laten wij u weten hoe laat we daar zullen zijn. Wij bieden een transportservice aan de zuid-, west- en oostkust van het eiland. Wil je dat familie of vrienden naar Abades Beach komen zonder deel te nemen aan de activiteit? Laat het ons weten; tegen een meerprijs reserveren we een stoel in onze minibus voor hen.

We were totally thrilled. Katharina explained everything to us calmly. For us, it was the first experience with snorkeling. We swam surprisingly far out. Would love to do it again.

We had a very relaxing and fun time snorkeling with Cindy. She picked us up with a smile on her face and was very enjoyable the entire time. After the hour snorkeling tour with Cindy showing us around we had plenty of time to have a meal and rehydrate before going back into the sea. Included was to use the gear again and go snorkeling by ourselves which we really enjoyed. Thanks again! Highly recommend <3

This is an awesome experience! The bay in Abades is full of life and you get to see a lot of different species. If you are lucky as my group was, you even get to see a turtle! The Zeus Dive Center can pick you up, or (if you stay in Puerto de la Cruz like I did), you can drive yourself. There is a little office in the back of the square (Google maps isn’t very clear, but if you walk around the square you will find it next to the cafe). There you will do registration and getting the gear. The people are very friendly (and they even have a dutch guide, which was very cool for me coming from the Netherlands). After you are all set, a guide will snorkel with you for an hour and then you can decide to snorkel longer by yourself. I highly recommend this, as you can snorkel and see marine life for hours like that. All in all a very nice experience, away from mass tourism on Tenerife, so I’d highly recommend it!

The area is really chill and does not feel touristic. The guides are very friendly and helpful. We had a small group of only four people. The timing is relaxed, so avoid planning this activity on a busy day. The equipment is excellent, and the wetsuits are great. I was worried it would be cold in the water, but I didn’t feel cold at all. The sea life exceeded my expectations, with many fascinating things to see. I can definitely recommend this experience. I was lucky enough to see a turtle, and our guide even swam down to capture a close-up view. I highly recommend it!
We had a fabulous time snorkelling saw loads of fish that we don't normally see when snorkelling on our own and even saw a turtle! The whole team are friendly and informative and make you feel so at ease. If you're in tenerife then make sure you give them a visit.
