Ervaar een zelden gezien uitzicht op onderwater Alaska. Snorkel Alaska's Mountain Point Snorkeling Adventure is een all-inclusive en volledig begeleide kustexcursie. Wij zijn een van de weinige snorkelexcursies in de hele staat Alaska. Waar anders ter wereld heb je de kans om te snorkelen naast grote zeezoogdieren? De intergetijdenzone van Zuidoost-Alaska biedt een verbazingwekkende verscheidenheid aan kleurrijk zeeleven.

Ophaallocaties en -tijden
Alle tours vertrekken vanaf de Liquid Sunshine-meter van het Ketchikan Visitors Center op Berth 2. 131 Front St. Ketchikan, AK 99901. Zoek naar onze Dock Representative met een Snorkel Alaska-bord. Kom 15 minuten eerder en vergeet niet een handdoek, zwemkleding en een extra paar sokken mee te nemen om onder het wetsuit te dragen. De sokken helpen het pak gemakkelijker aan en uit te trekken. Voor gasten die reizen met Norwegian Cruise Line, moet u de GRATIS shuttlebus nemen van The Mill at Ward Cove naar het centrum van Ketchikan. De shuttle kan worden geboekt bij het uitstappen bij de Mill at Ward Cove. De shuttle heen en terug is gratis. Houd rekening met ongeveer 45 minuten tot een uur om in de stad te komen vanaf het moment dat u van boord gaat. Het is BELANGRIJK dat u tot de eerste gasten behoort die van boord gaan om op tijd te zijn. Er worden geen restituties verstrekt als u de vertrektijd mist.

- Niet aanbevolen voor ernstig zwaarlijvige personen of personen met beperkte mobiliteit. We snorkelen vanaf een rotsachtig strand, dus in- en uitgangen zijn op zijn best moeilijk.
- Iedereen met een voorgeschiedenis van hartaandoeningen in het verleden of heden, ademhalingsstoornissen of een voorgeschiedenis van epileptische aanvallen of flauwvallen mag niet snorkelen. Er wordt geen restitutie gegeven op de dag van de tour voor een medische diskwalificatie.
- Deelnemers moeten tussen de 80 en 260 pond wegen voor een goede pasvorm van het wetsuit.
- De voorgestelde maximumleeftijd is 70 vanwege de inspannende aard van snorkelen in Alaska

Super fun experience, the owner was very knowledgeable about sea life, and let us handle a few things, including sea stars, CNN enemies and see cucumbers, all in all it was a great experience.
We did this activity while on a cruise stop in Ketchikan. It was an easy, short walk from our ship to the meeting place; it only took a few minutes. Our group of 7 really enjoyed our snorkel adventure. Chris, Melody and marine biologist Maya provided a fun and informative experience. We also want to acknowledge (1) the encouragement and support that was given to one of our group to alleviate her hesitation and (2) that prescription goggles were provided.

It was amazing! I thought I would be cold but once the sea water seeped into the wet suit, my body warmed up the water and I started moving around I wasn’t cold! Saw lots of starfish, harmless jellyfish fish, crabs and fish! It was great!

Such a great experience! A must do! If you are worried about being cold you will not be! Such a great unique thing to do! From the moment our guide picked us up to the end it was first class all the way! Our ship was late arriving and they still made it happen and got us back on time!!

Snorkeling in Alaska was absolutely unforgettable! Melody and Alex were phenomenal guides—professional, knowledgeable, and so much fun. They made us feel completely comfortable and safe in the cold waters, and their passion for the unique Alaskan marine life really shone through. The owner, Fred, was just as spectacular—warm, welcoming, and clearly dedicated to creating a one-of-a-kind adventure. The whole team worked seamlessly to make this excursion smooth and memorable from start to finish. I never imagined snorkeling in Alaska could be so magical—crystal clear waters, fascinating sea life, and an experience you truly can’t find anywhere else. If you’re even thinking about it—do it! This was hands-down one of the highlights of our entire trip.

What a fun thing to do!!! We had a great time from time of booking on the phone with Fred, all the way to being dropped off in town after snorkeling and hot showers.
