Het rijden op een sneeuwscooter is een van de beste activiteiten die je kunt proberen in Lapland. U kunt dichter bij de prachtige landschappen van het Noordpoolgebied komen. IJsvissen is een unieke manier om te genieten van de natuurlijke omgeving. Boor het ijs van het meer, wacht op poolvissen en ervaar de traditionele levensstijl. Omgeven door prachtige natuur, genieten van een panoramisch uitzicht op de Lappennatuur en het sprankelende met sneeuw bedekte meer. Als je geen vis vangt, maak je geen zorgen! Verzamelen met anderen rond het vuur, zullen wij gegrilde zalm voor u bereiden om van te genieten na een lange dag. Vertrektijd kan variëren. - Als het kind 150 cm of groter is, kan hij/zij op de sneeuwscooter zitten tegen de prijs van de volwassene

- Kinderen jonger dan 12 jaar moeten worden begeleid door volwassenen die de volledige prijs betalen
- Kinderen jonger dan 3 jaar zijn niet toegestaan

We really liked the activity. We went with 4 and 6 year olds, and they can do it without problem. When doing the route on the motorcycles, the children go behind the guide in a sled with blankets. Our guide, Mario, was very friendly, attentive to the children, even overcoming their homework. We would certainly repeat with him. The bbq salmon was delicious.
They promised a snowmobile tour, but we were stopped for about 30 minutes due to their mistake, and after that the tour ended. It wasn't worth the amount paid.

During the Christmas week, it is indeed the busiest time of the year, and many tours operate with larger groups. For shared tours, there can occasionally be short delays, especially when some guests may need extra time, such as elderly travelers or families with children. That said, our normal procedure is to keep waiting time to a minimum, and a delay of around 30 minutes is not what we aim for. If you prefer a smoother and faster schedule without waiting for other guests, we highly recommend booking a private tour next time. With a private tour, you can depart at your preferred time and enjoy the experience without group related delays. We chose the Ice Fishing and Snowmobiling experience, and we loved it! Although we didn't catch anything, we learned the ways to drill holes in the ice and fish. We had a delicious salmon BBQ after ice fishing, and finished the day with an hour long snowmobile through beautiful forest. We wouldn't have wanted to snowmobile for longer than we did, we had so much fun, we went fast (safely), but longer wouldn't have added to the experience. Gigi was an excellent guide, picking us up from town and taking us back at the end. We had great chats and learned so much about the area. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Our tour guide GiGi was absolutely fantastic from start to finish, looking after us, cooking our lunch, making sure we were safe when snowmobiling and answering all of our questions. The track we could take was fairly limited due to the time of year. Would definitely recommend Nordic Unique Tours and would tour with them again.
Cancelled my Rovaniemi snowmobile and fishing booking 19 hours before despite accepting it many days in advance, telling us all of a sudden they were fully booked! We flew all the way from the UK, just for 3 nights for my daughter's birthday and it supposed to be a highlight of the trip - ruined experience and one disappointed little girl. Every other similar experience was already fully booked so we ended up with nothing. AVOID!

We were on a small group, so was very nice. The fishing experience was great ( we didn’t catch anything) but drilling the hole and been there was so cool. The snowmobile was awesome, we had so much fun and adrenaline.
The weather was sunny and windless which makes ice-fishing not so torturous but fun. We didn't catch any fishes but seeing our adult children successfully drilling the hole was a great sight and full of fun. It will etch into memory for years to come....nice activity to try once in a lifetime; especially coming from Singapore.

Unusual and fun day, especially the snowmobile ride. But also the attempt at fishing on a frozen lake with a delicious salmon lunch. The guides are very kind and helpful guys (Miquel and Nazareth). Advise!
