Slow Sailing Bacalar Experience met hapje en drankje
Beschrijving
Stap aan boord van onze zeilboot en ervaar Bacalar op de meest authentieke en duurzame manier - aangedreven door voornamelijk de wind. Door ervoor te kiezen om te zeilen, helpt u het kwetsbare ecosysteem van de lagune te beschermen terwijl u geniet van een rustige en onvergetelijke reis. We vertrekken vanuit de jachthaven, waar de kapitein een veiligheidsinstructie met u deelt. Terwijl we over het water glijden, bezoekt u het Kanaal van de Piraten, ooit een handelsroute vol avontuur, passeert u Bird Island en bewondert u de schoonheid van cenote neger en Cenote Esmeralda. Onderweg leer je over de geschiedenis, legendes en natuurwonderen die deze plek zo uniek maken. Tijdens de tocht ankeren we op twee speciale plekken waar u kunt inspringen voor een verfrissende duik in kristalhelder water. Terug aan boord kunt u genieten van een hapje vers fruit, langs koude biertjes en water. De tocht eindigt op dezelfde plek waar hij begon.

De kapitein van de zeilboot zal je ontmoeten in de jachthaven. Na een korte instructie start je de tour. De excursie gaat verder ten zuiden van de lagune waar je cenotes, kleine eilanden, mangrovebomen zult zien en je zult zwemmen in prachtig helder water. Je leert over het ecosysteem van de lagune en ook over de geschiedenis van de stad van onze ervaren kapitein.

The activity was amazing. Both the captain and his assistant were super friendly. The assistant even let us taste the maté she was drinking. The fruits we got as snacks were very tasty. And the place itself was simply magical.

Great excursion to the Bacalar lagoon! An unforgettable moment in a paradisiacal setting. The water colors are amazing 😍 We were with Marine who speak French and Julio the captain, which really made the difference. They took the time to explain everything (the history of the lagoon, the cenotes, the stromatoliths...) and the atmosphere was both professional and very friendly. We felt safe, well accompanied, and discovered beautiful places. I recommend 100% if you are in Bacalar! 🇲🇽

This trip was definitely one of the highlights of my vacation. Julio was so cool and made us feel comfortable right away. He showed us all the beautiful spots around the lagoon and sprinkled in some history and facts.

The sailing trip with Costa the captain was extremely pleasant. There were four of us and had a lot of fun sailing the lagoon. I recommend this excursion by sailboat and not by motorboat.

Pros: 1 water, fruit plate, nice way to get out on beautiful bacalar waters, sails were up for part of tour, small group, cheaper than others Cons: not 4hrs as described(I specifically booked the 3pm to be out at sunset but were done and docked in 3hrs), captain Costa was not very personable, didn't interact or engage much and seemed bothered by questions. I would not choose this tour company again on future visits.

We had a technical issue though the platforms but we already fixed it and everything is good.
