If you want to go with 250 of your newest 17-25 year olds you met in the club last night, this is your tour. If you are an actual adult or family or want to actually see the city or snorkel don’t bother. This was nothing more than any spring break at Lake Havasu, Panama City, or Cancun. If they just called it a party boat with a quick dip in the blue lagoon with 3000 other people, that would be a more apt description. Cattle boat couldn’t be a more appropriate way to describe. The “tour” (in quotes on purpose because it’s anything but), starts with filling the boat to max capacity, an hour and a half ride where you can’t see anything because all the “teens” gathering around the rails to vape, then they drop you off with no accountability or directions to get on a random bus in Gozo. After a 20 minute ride, you’re dumped out on some side street with expert directions of head up the hill, you’ll eventually get to the citadel, be back in 2 hours. Then back on the boat to the blue lagoon where there are legitimately 50 other boats and 3000 other people to snorkel or “explore the island”. Snorkeling is watching 3 fish under the boat while trying not to be hit by people on water slides, jumping from the bow or top deck of boats, or any number of idiots launching themselves from the rocks/cliffs. As for shore, it’s nothing but food trucks or chair & umbrella rentals. Then it’s fighting all 3000 people down the single file stairs to get back on the boats that all leave at the same time to make space for the evening wave. Back on the boat you get treated to an entire boat of overserved kids eating three hotdogs at a time and loudly telling each other what a giant (insert demeaning term) they were. Do not waste your money.
It was a nice experience, a bit tiring during the trip to the citadel due to the heat!!! During the journey, you see beautiful landscapes, especially when you arrive at the Blue Lagoon and the Comino Caves
A great way to spend the day and especially if you like sailing on a big boat that holds around 150 people. Nice commentary on the boat. A little confusing when we got to Gozo and got on a bus to Victoria. Two hours in Victoria and enough time to visit the Citadel or get something to eat but constantly watching the clock. Need to use google maps to get where you need to go. Back to the boat via the bus and then onto 90 mins at the blue lagoon. Worth it but it’s packed. Also time to see the fantastic caves of St Mary in Comino from the boat and then a happy ride back to Sliema. For the cost per person, well worth it.
We took a 1.5 hour boat ride put to Gozo, then hop of on bus . Then over to blue lagoon which was spectacular. Very crowded.
Trip overall was good but didn't get long enough in Gozo...was only there for approximately 1 and a half hours.
This is a very enjoyable trip that takes you to Comino and Gozo, two interesting islands in the Malta archipelago. The blue lagoon is fantastic and certainly worth a visit. The cruise itself is quite pleasant and shows much of the area around Malta. Gozo is a nice place to visit. But the trip basically takes you to Victoria and drops you there for a couple of hours with no guide. I wish they had someone explain the history of the island and guide us to the places worth visiting. Still the trip is worthwhile.
Had a great time, beautiful locations and lovely boat trip
A must when visiting Malta. Interesting cruise with stops in the port of Gozo. Bus to Victoria with your own time in 90 minutes. Then cruise to Comino with the possibility of swimming in the Blue Lagoon. On the boat there was the opportunity to buy drinks and simple food (hamburgers). Nice staff on board. Guide in English via speaker.
The Luzzu cruisers tour was one of the highlights of our trip to Malta, and we must say it exceeded our expectations, thanks to the weather and the sea. I also dared to take two slides, but you only live once. Cliffs, caves, and the blue lagoon. Bars and restrooms are very clean.
Everything was well organized. The crew was very nice, friendly, and helpful. We had plenty of time for the visit to the citadel. The transfer to Victoria on Gozo went smoothly. The Blue Lagoon was, of course, completely overcrowded, but we were able to enjoy the truly crystal-clear water from the boat away from the hustle and bustle. Who also wanted to go down a slide? The prices on board for drinks and snacks were reasonable. We received a lot for our money.
