Combineer een wandeltocht door het Florence uit de Renaissance met een rondleiding door de Galleria dell'Accademia, waarbij u de wachtrij over kunt slaan! Laat u door de lokale gids rondleiden door het historische centrum van Florence langs de topattracties, waaronder de Duomo, en geniet van de architectuur uit de Renaissance. Uw gids vertelt u alles over invloedrijke Florentijnen zoals de de' Medici's en de dichter Dante Alighieri en treedt zonder te wachten de Galleria dell'Accademia binnen. Bewonder de originele 'David' van Michelangelo en kom alles over deze wereldberoemde Florentijnse beeldhouwer te weten. Bij deze twee groepsrondleidingen mogen slechts 14 personen mee, voor een meer persoonlijke ervaring met uw gids.

Onze tour begint op het Strozzi-plein dat in renaissancetijd het marktplein was voor de dagelijkse voedselmarkt.
Bezoek de vele achterstraten van het stadscentrum van Florence en leer meer over de middeleeuwse en renaissancegeschiedenis.
Bezoek Piazza della Signoria, het belangrijkste plein van Florence dat uitzicht biedt op de politieke en artistieke aanwezigheid van deze renaissancestad. Hier laat je gids je kennismaken met een van de meest invloedrijke Florentijnse families, de Medici.
Breng tijdens de 3 uur durende wandeling tijd door in de Ponte Vecchio en leer meer over zijn geschiedenis sinds het werd gebouwd in de middeleeuwen. Bekijk de vele juwelierszaken, ooit bewoond door slagers.
Bekijk de prachtige kathedraal en het Baptisterium van Florence (buitenkant). Kom meer te weten over de beroemde Brunelleschi Dome, ontworpen door Brunelleschi.
Bekijk de buitenkant van de hoge klokkentoren ontworpen door Giotto, een van de pronkstukken van de Florentijnse gotische architectuur.
Bezoek tijdens de tour de Academiegalerij en leer alles over de beroemde David van Michelangelo. De tour eindigt in het museum.

We had a wonderful walking tour of Florence. We enjoyed having our guide provide us with all the helpful information and history of each of our stops, especially the statue of David. We also enjoyed meeting some local store owners and experiencing the artisan traditions local only to Florence. Included in that is the marble paper technique, gold smith and mosaic painting. It was an unforgettable experience.
We did the private walking tour with Antonella who met us at our hotel and filled our tour with interesting Medici stories, opulent interiors, art, history and fun! Antonella encouraged us to walk everywhere as Florence’s historic centre is compact, walkable and easy to navigate ... plus she promised that we would stumble on hidden gems around every corner and boy was she right! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Antonella as she was organised, knowledgeable and funny! Thanks Antonella!

I recently had the pleasure of having explored Florence with guide Antonella and it was an absolute pleasure and one of the best parts of my time in Florence. She was kind and extremely informative, being a Florence native she had a wonderful approach to story telling and brought it all to life in our tour! Florence is a beautiful city with so much to offer, but I’m sure we had the best guide in town—and that is what made it such a special experience. Antonella showed us many of the incredible places—churches, palazzos, etc.—that tourists would have no way of knowing they were there. The crowds were gathered at sites such as the Duomo and the Academia, of course, but there were so many other little hidden gems that were delightful as well as historically fascinating. We have a much greater appreciation for Florence than we would have if we had stayed on the traditional tourist paths. Bravo, Antonella!
Somehow we ended up being the only people on this tour, so we had a private guide for the morning. What a great introduction to Florence! This is a good tour to do early in your stay because it helps you get your bearings. The best part is that it ends at The Academia so you can stay longer there and see the rest of the collection if you like.
