Bezoek de Vaticaanse Musea & Sixtijnse Kapel alleen of met een gids (indien optie geselecteerd). Tickets bieden toegang zonder wachtrij.
Verken een van de vele openluchtbinnenplaatsen van het Vaticaan. Deze is versierd met een gigantisch bronzen dennenappelbeeld, waaraan de binnenplaats zijn naam dankt.
Krijg toegang tot de Vaticaanse Musea en ontdek het beroemde beeldhouwwerk 'Bol in een bol'.
De Vaticaanse Musea zijn onderverdeeld in vele kleinere, unieke musea. Onder hen is het Museo Pio Clementino waarschijnlijk het belangrijkste, en de vele hoogtepunten die het bevat, mogen niet worden gemist! Stop bij de Octagonal Courtyard voor de Laocoonte en de Apollo Belvedere -- of de Round Room voor de gigantische marmeren badkuip waar een enorm bronzen beeld van Heracles op patrouilleert. Zoek een sculptuur van je favoriete fauna in de Room of the Animals, of bewonder de 3D-geschilderde gewelven van de Gallery of the Candelabra.
Een van de meest populaire galerijen van de musea, stop hier en probeer de Italiaanse steden te ontdekken waar je naartoe bent gereisd, of de geboorteplaats van je voorouders. Deze met de hand geschilderde kaarten, daterend uit het einde van de 16e eeuw, zijn ook te bewonderen vanwege de voortreffelijke aandacht voor detail en verfraaiingen. Kijk of je de knipoog kunt zien naar de reis van Christoffel Columbus over de Atlantische Oceaan...
Bewonder Raphael's Rooms - geschilderd door de meester zelf en zijn leerlingen rond dezelfde tijd als de Sixtijnse Kapel - en geïnspireerd en uitgedaagd door het grootste meesterwerk van Michelangelo.
Michelangelo's meesterwerk, neem de tijd om de gewelven te bewonderen.
Uw bezoek eindigt bij de ingang van de Vaticaanse Musea. Vanaf hier bent u vrij om binnen de officiële openingstijden op eigen gelegenheid verder te verkennen.
Alleen voor rondleidingen waarbij de optie voor toegang tot de Sint-Pietersbasiliek is geselecteerd in het boekingsproces, wordt rechtstreeks toegang vanaf de Sixtijnse Kapel tot de basiliek geboden, waarbij de buitenbeveiligingslijnen worden overgeslagen. Je tour eindigt bij de ingang van de Basiliek en na een introductie ben je vrij om op eigen houtje de basiliek te verkennen.
Een introductie tot het Sint-Pietersplein zal worden verstrekt voor rondleidingen waarbij toegang tot de Sint-Pietersbasiliek is inbegrepen.

- Kinderen van 6 jaar en jonger hebben recht op gratis toegang tot de Vaticaanse Musea (met bewijs van leeftijd)
- Kinderen van 7 tot 18 jaar hebben recht op een verlaagd toegangstarief (zie tour- en ticketprijzen) en moeten een bewijs van hun leeftijd overleggen.
- Kinderen onder de 18 jaar moeten worden begeleid door een volwassene.
- Een kledingvoorschrift is vereist om plaatsen van aanbidding en geselecteerde musea binnen te gaan. Geen korte broeken of mouwloze tops toegestaan. Knieën en schouders MOETEN bedekt zijn voor zowel mannen als vrouwen. U riskeert de toegang te weigeren als u niet voldoet aan deze kledingvereisten.
- Er zijn minimaal 4 personen nodig om de rondleidingen door te laten gaan.
- Inchecken is 15 minuten voor de geboekte starttijd. Tickets zijn tijdgevoelig en we kunnen geen rekening houden met late aankomsten.
- Gasten met een gecertificeerde handicap van meer dan 75% hebben recht op gratis toegang tot het Vaticaan en hebben geen ticket nodig. Voor gasten die niet zelfvoorzienend zijn, wordt de gratis toegang uitgebreid tot een begeleider.
- Belangrijk : De Sint-Pietersbasiliek is niet bij alle touropties inbegrepen. Als u de Basiliek wilt bezoeken als onderdeel van uw ervaring, zorg er dan voor dat u een tour selecteert waar deze expliciet als inbegrepen wordt vermeld.
- Vermeld alle namen zoals ze op uw paspoort staan tijdens het boeken. Tickets zijn niet overdraagbaar en als de namen op uw boeking niet overeenkomen met uw ID, kan u de toegang worden geweigerd en is er geen restitutie verschuldigd. Eventuele naamswijzigingen moeten minimaal 72 uur van tevoren worden doorgegeven.

We paid to see more than the museum and the tour guide that’s all it showed us. We paid for skip the line tickets and we had to wait in line for almost 2 hours. We understand it was busy, but why charge for a service if we had to wait with everyone else who didn’t pay extra to enter the museum. The tour guide never mentioned the Sistine Chapel or anything else to see. Again, we paid for a service we didn’t get. Now, our daughter and her fiancé have a scheduled trip to Rome this coming August and asked us about our experience with the tours, needles to say, we had to tell them about this disappointing tour. We do not recommend.
The tour guide was excellent! The experience itself was not good. The number of tours let in at one time is excessive. The experience was ridiculously over crowded and impossible to enjoy. I would not buy any Vatican tour again for this reason. It was very expensive, very overcrowded, very noisy and very hot. This is NOT the fault of the tour company. They were lovely. It is the result of over selling the experience, all together.

Loreley gave a fantastic tour, very knowledgeable, took special care to pace appropriately due to extreme heat, and members of our party with physical challenges. The path itself through the museum and chapel was more strenuous than expected, so plan accordingly.

The guided tour was very informative and interesting. There is so much to see at the Vatican and we seemed to have covered most of it. But we didn’t seem to venture in to the Egyptian museum we seemed to have missed this. Overall though the tour was very concise and professionally performed in hot conditions.

Excellent tour from start to finish. The skip-the-line access saved a huge amount of time, and our guide was fantastic—knowledgeable, organised, and genuinely passionate about the Vatican’s history. At the beginning of the tour when we received the whispers it didn’t fit on my ear and my tour guides reply was you have a small ear and continued on. I had to hold it up to my ear for the 3 hour tour which was tiring and hot after awhile so I barely was able to listen. When entering the tour, the guide was a bit aggressive in their communication towards a tourist who seems confused about the line (there was no signs of where to line up so I probably would’ve done the same thing as the tourist) so it started off the tour on an uncomfortable note. The tour guide visibly saw that my ear piece didn’t fit and I was actively trying to fix it on the tour and didn’t stop to help or anything or give a better alternative. I’ve been on 10000 of tours and never had this happen. Very frustrating paying for something that I couldn’t even hear I could’ve done it for free myself. Very unfortunate
