Verken de ondergrondse wereld van een eeuwenoude Beierse mijn tijdens een tour van een halve dag vanuit Salzburg. Kies uit een ochtend- of middagervaring en reist langs de kronkelende Deutsche Alpenstrasse door de schilderachtige Beierse Alpen. Betreed met een ticket waarmee u niet in de rij hoeft te staan de zoutmijnen van Berchtesgaden en verken deze samen met een gids. U ziet de ondergrondse bezienswaardigheden te voet, per mini-trein en op het water. Zie het daglicht weer voor een korte tour door Berchtesgaden voordat u met de bus terugkeert naar Salzburg.

Great tour! It was a lot of fun and very interesting. Especially liked the slides. Also like some of the history of the Region that was discussed enroute.
Great saltmine tour with highlights including the slides and boat across the water. Some connection glitches & delays on one of our audiosets, but a lot of information was also communicated in writing and in film. The tour company voucher exchange kiosk building was surrounded by market vendor stalls and was hard to spot, but found it on the corner.

Salt mines were great. Sadly my individual vox box company uses to share mine information in English stopped working at station 2. Advising the tour guide, thinking she would be carrying a spare or two. Abruptly told it is broken and share with someone. Friend did share but very hard to hear vox box info when sharing, when over head speakers in different language was loud. Visually a good tour. Information regarding what I was seeing - still have no idea!

It was quite interesting and fun. Be sure to wear long sleeves. It’s cold down there. The guide should speak softer to the group in German so that we could better hear the information through the audio device in our language.

Dress in good shoes. It’s cold down there so I wished I had worn long sleeves - the jumpsuit helped. There are lickers but try not too bring a big bag - very hard to hold on the tram and slides. The slides are steep but quickly done - 10 seconds

When in Salzburg …. We did three tours with Panorama and they were all very good. Yes, there is some travelling by bus and they will explain other options so be prepared to hear the same information and jokes. The mine is a slick operation moving blocks of visitors along pre planned routes with commentary. Two salt slides, a boat ride and a train. Great experience and nice and cool on a hot day. Limited shop selling ….. salt.

This tour is super fun. Train into the mine is like an amusement ride. Slides were awesome. Under the mountain lake boat very cool. Just super fun. Kids had a blast. Very pretty drive also to Bavaria. Gerhard our guide was excellent.

The visit to the salt mines is interesting and experienced by children and adults. The whole tour is very organized and organized including instruction in German and English using a personal device available at the entrance.
