Ontmoet je gids op korte loopafstand van een van de beste musea van Florence, de Accademia-galerij. Geen wachtrijen, want met deze eerste toegang zonder wachtrij gaat u meteen naar Michelangelo's 'David' voordat de menigte arriveert.
Deze tour neemt je mee door de achterstraten van Florence om de middeleeuwse herenhuizen in het oudste deel van de stad te zien.
Dan is het in de Piazza Duomo om je ogen te richten op de prachtige kathedraal met zijn perfect bewaard gebleven en unieke marmeren gravures. Boven u staat de koepel van Brunelleschi; symbool van Renaissance Florence en beroemd om zijn gedurfde ontwerp en nog meer uitdagende realisatie. De Piazza Duomo is gevuld met interessante dingen om te zien, maar we zullen ervoor zorgen dat je de klokkentoren van Giotto, een voorbeeld van 1300-architectuur en de prachtige Porta del Paradiso van de doopkapel niet mist.
Vervolgens gaat u naar het politieke centrum van Florence, de Piazza della Signoria. Our private guide was exceptional. A native from Florence who studied in Florida, Ricardo spoke excellent English and far exceeded our expectations with his in depth knowledge of art and history. We learned a lot more information than in a typical group tour. Highly recommend.

My husband, two teenage children, and I took this tour in June. Our tour guide (whose name I wish I could remember) was wonderful. We learned a lot about the Medici family, which was fascinating, And she even talked with my teenage daughter (a bookworm) about writers in Florence. We’d walked around the city on our own the day before, but had a better appreciation of the sights after the tour. And best of all, she could talk in detail about Michelangelo and about David, pointing out many different features from different angles. Even my teenage son enjoyed the tour. I was a bit concerned as there weren’t any recent reviews on this site, but I had no reason to worry. The guide was waiting for us at the appointed location, she was a professional tour guide who spoke perfect English, extremely knowledgeable, very friendly, and wanted to make sure we had a great experience. We really enjoyed our morning with her!

We had an amazing experience on our guided, private tour with Bianca! She was extremely knowledgeable, patient, professional, and answered all of our questions. The tour itself was informative and we saw historical Florentine highlights, even including a stop by a famous espresso shop! This tour was one of the most memorable on our trip to Italy. We had a very enjoyable tour with Emilia from Private tours. Emilia was punctual and respectful. She was very knowledgeable of the area and history of Florence and Florentine families. We skipped the line at the Academia and got a wonderful informative tour of David. Emilia includes charming antidotes and stories wherever she can during her tours. Emilia was happy to point out the best shops for jewelry and leather. We appreciated this very much as we did spend time shopping after our tour and lunch. Emilia walked us directly to a fantastic restaurant and made sure we had a table before she left. It was one of the best meals we had on our trip!
