Hagia Sophia; De Hagia Sophia, wat Goddelijke Wijsheid betekent, was het grootste gebouw op aarde, met uitzondering van de Egyptische piramiden of de Grote Muur van China. De huidige Hagia Sophia werd in 537 na Christus gebouwd door keizer Justinianus. Het was het religieuze centrum van de stad tijdens de Byzantijnse periode. Het werd 916 jaar als kerk gebruikt en 481 jaar als moskee. In 1934 werd het in opdracht van Mustafa Kemal Ataturk omgebouwd tot een museum en sindsdien is het open voor bezoekers.
Topkapi-paleis; Het paleis was niet alleen de keizerlijke residentie van de sultan, maar ook de regeringszetel van het Ottomaanse rijk. Het huisvestte bijna 400 jaar lang de Ottomaanse sultans totdat het Dolmabahçe-paleis werd gebouwd. In 1924 werd het omgebouwd tot museum. Tegenwoordig is het beroemd met harem, koninklijke schatkist en heilige relikwieën
Het is gebouwd door de Ottomaanse sultan Ahmet I in het jaar 1616 en ligt tegenover de Hagia Sophia. De Blauwe Moskee is tegenwoordig een van de beroemdste bezienswaardigheden van de oude stad met zijn beroemde zes minaretten en prachtige koepel. Hoewel het officieel de Sultanahmet-moskee heet, werd de (nıck) naam Blauwe Moskee eraan gegeven door de bezoekers vanwege de verbazingwekkende blauwe tegels die de binnenmuren versieren.
Met 18 ingangen en meer dan 4000 winkels is het een van de grootste bazaars ter wereld. Het werd gebouwd tussen 1455-1461 door Sultan Mehmet de Veroveraar. Tegenwoordig zijn winkels die dezelfde soort koopwaar verkopen, vaak samengekomen in hun eigen straten of herbergen, zoals het oorspronkelijke Ottomaanse systeem was.
Gebouwd door de Romeinse keizer Septimus Severus in 203 na Christus, was de hippodroom tijdens de Romeinse periode het burgerlijke centrum voor de mensen van de stad waar ooit 100.000 toeschouwers konden worden vastgehouden. Gelegen in het hart van Sultanahmet, omringd door de Blauwe Moskee, de Hagia Sophia en het Topkapi-paleis, is het tegenwoordig de thuisbasis van de Egyptische Obelisk (Dikilitaş), de Serpentine Column (Birma sütun), de Constantine Column en de Duitse Fontein.

Ali was fascinating!!! He has so much knowledge and the tour was tailored to our specific requests. Could not have been happier and can give a 110% recommendation.
I found it to be a comprehensive introductory tour of historical Istanbul. We were able to skip the line on the sights. Was very delighted with the history lesson from our guide, Barish. He was very knowledgeable and pleasant.
Should not have booked this trip during Eid. It was extremely crowded & did not get the full tour experience Grand Bazaar (part of the tour) was closed. Lunch was not included even though it says it was in the tour. So you pay for your lunch. Felt rushed & didn’t see everything at the Topkapi Palace as it was so crowded Guide left to take some of the people back to the bus & left a few of us to continue the tour on our own at the Topkapi Palace (last part of the tour)
I recommend this Enterprise, we really enjoyed the visit to these beautiful places together with our guide and driver Riza and Okan, very friendly, explained every detail of the ancient city.

Excellent and very well organised tour from the start to the finish. The guides were excellent and provided great commentary on the history of the area. The guides also gave us the choice to go to some shops along the way, which we did out of interest, but no pushy sales pitch, or pressure to go. However, I was glad we did go as the information we were given was very helpful for shopping throughout Turkey even if you didn't buy anything at their shop. The accommodation and van we travelled in was comfortable.

Very happy with our tour guide Riza and driver Burak. The tour was informative and beautiful. We had a nice lunch buffet as well. All facilities taken were very clean and adequate toilet breaks. Highly recommended for this tour. Pamukale is a must see destination. From Stewart and Lisa

We haven't had such a good tour in a long time! We were guided as well as if we had gone through history again for the first time, just fabulous the tour guide! Was lucky enough to discover the grandiosity of Ephesus with our tour guide, Gonca! Let me just say this, if you're planning to go to Ephesus do try and get a tour with her! Gonca will make your tour memorable in so many ways. She knows how to guide you around the city almost as if she is from that era. We have joined the Kusadasi tour Company for 2 days to Pamukkale & Ephesus with our driver (Mr Hakan) and 2 tour guides (Mr Riza & Mrs Gonza). We had a really wonderful trip, where we were brought to a really nice place with amazing views and price are reasonable. The tour guides are friendly and speaks good english.
