Rijd met enkele van de beste Alaska Racing Huskies, een educatieve Q & A-presentatie over Mushing door onze lokale mushing-experts en een bezoek aan het GRATIS Puppy Camp. Voel de opwinding van het rijden met een ervaren hondenslee-musher over uitgesneden paden door de Yukon-wildernis! Deze 6 uur durende tour vertrekt om 9.00 uur vanuit Yukon Heath's Popcorn Emporium. Deze tour stopt bij Capt Moore's Bridge en Tutshi. Bezoek vervolgens Caribou Crossing Iditarod Training Camp voor ongeveer 1 uur. Zo heb je tijd voor lunch, het wildmuseum, kinderboerderij en PUPPIES! De tour neemt je ook mee naar Emerald Lake, het Yukon-bord, het Welcome to Alaska-bord en er is een mogelijkheid om dieren in het wild te spotten, waaronder beren, schapen, kariboes, elanden, lynxen, vossen, adelaars en elanden. Vervoer wordt verzorgd in een 24-passagiersbus en u wordt vergezeld door een chauffeur/gids. Een geldig paspoort is VERPLICHT op de dag van de reis Zorg dat je ten minste 30 minuten aanwezig bent, je tour is klaar om te vertrekken

- Amerikaanse en Canadese staatsburgers: Moeten een door de overheid uitgegeven identiteitsbewijs met foto en een bewijs van staatsburgerschap (Amerikaanse geboorteakte of naturalisatiecertificaat) of een paspoort meenemen voor terugkeer naar de Verenigde Staten. Kinderen van 18 jaar en jonger hebben alleen een geboorteakte nodig.
- Niet-VS Burgers: ofwel een paspoort, I-94, Multiple Entry Visa of Resident Alien Card is vereist voor terugkeer naar de Verenigde Staten
- Elke tour werkt onder alle weersomstandigheden - ons weer kan sterk variëren, dus we raden je aan om je in laagjes te kleden

We came to Alaska looking very forward to this dog-sledding adventure, only to find out we would not be getting a dog-sled ride at all. The bus tour, with our guide, Kenton, was fantastic. He was super knowledgeable and personable. But, when we got to the dogs, we were told they wouldn't be running that day. We were instead driven around a small track in an open air vehicle (basically a Jeep Wrangler). The entire trail was less than a mile. A complete disappointment. If you're just looking for a nice bus tour, then I would recommend (ask for Kenton; he's great), but if you're actually looking for a dog-sledding excursion, don't pick this one.
We went on an amazing excursion to see the Yukon, and it was an unforgettable experience. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and took us to so many beautiful places along the way. We learned a lot, saw some breathtaking scenery, and truly enjoyed every moment of the adventure. Highly recommend!
Our guide, Andrew, took about 25 of us on a bouncy and noisy bus ride from Scagway to the mountains and stunning lakes of the the Yukon. The commentary, information and scenery more than made up for the bumps and thumps on the bus. The stops were just the right amount--time for viewing and pictures but not lingering. The stop for the dog-sledding was perfect for the kids (8-13 yrs) with the petting zoo and museum more popular than the actual dog-sled/ATV ride. Lunch was so-so but the donuts were fabulous! Can't wait to look at my photos!
I love dogs and I loved hearing the trainers speak about how they work with the sled dogs. The trip up the mountain was beautiful and I think better than the train bc our guide stopped and let us take pictures. The only think I would say that wasn’t “awesome” was the lunch,..not great, but I wasn’t mad about it
This is not a train ride. Nowhere do they say it’s a van ride. In fact they are careful to use every description except van. They use words like “transportation”. The van holds 30 people and is a rattle trap. Can’t hear the guide/driver and he drives very fast on very rough roads. They even use the exact same title as the train ride except the world train.
We are sorry you were not happy with your tour and you expected a train ride. However, I have copied this directly from the description of the tour: What's included Professional Driver/guide Live commentary on board Buses can accommodate up to 32 people, with public address system for easy... The train does not offer this tour and the title is not anywhere near the same as the train ride.
We should have been told beforehand that the dogs would not be running that day. Not happy that I paid for an excursion we did not get.
Disappointing, dog sledding was not at all realistic…used a motorized vehicle, dogs were not huskies but were very friendly. Could not interact with puppies. Was part of our lunch stop, so was a very limited time…it was raining and that didn’t help…very muddy and messy. The rest of the tour was fine!
The lunch stop was VERY RUSHED for those of us who were doing dog mushing. Our lunch including the slaw was kept in a warm oven. No iced tea left and asked but tank was never refilled so drank water. Dogs were housed on concrete slabs and all of them were wet and muddy along with trail they mushed on. Puppies two or three were in enclosed separately fenced off from anything but viewing...no contact. You could pet the musher dogs if you were good with walking thru mud to reach them and okay with wet muddy hand after touching. Didn't get to see the museum of taxidermy or gift shop as I would have had to forfit lunch.
Our driver Clay was very informative and passionate about the area we traveled through, we stopped at interesting and beautiful places for pictures and to see wildlife. The mushers camp was not as expected. One of the highlights in the brochure was to play with husky puppies, at the time they only had one and she was asleep. But it was neat seeing the dogs and how excited they got to pull the ATV. The lunch was pretty good and I recommend trying the Sweet Beaver shot. We also got to see black bears on the side of the road up close ( while safely in the bus).
The scenery is inexplicably beautiful! One of the best tours in Alaska! Although the dog sledding was more of an ATV ride (and no touching the pups), the tour as a whole was much better than expected! I just can't express enough how beyond gorgeous it was!
