We nemen je mee naar het prachtig gerenoveerde historische paleis van Sisi net buiten Boedapest. Je chauffeur haalt je op, brengt je naar het paleis en brengt je terug naar je hotel. In het hotel vertelt het onlangs bijgewerkte audiogidssysteem u alle interessante verhalen en geheimen van het paleis. De handigste en gemakkelijkste manier om dit juweeltje vol verhalen te ontdekken, is door deze tour te volgen. Je kunt ook Sisi's favoriete cake en koffie proberen aan het einde van je bezoek!

Neem een kijkje in het leven van het zeer bekende koningspaar, Sisi & Franz Joseph. Nadat we je hebben opgehaald bij je accommodatie, maken we een korte rit naar deze prachtige stad, Gödöllő genaamd, waar we dit verborgen juweeltje net buiten onze hoofdstad kunnen vinden. Het paleis overleefde meer dan 3 eeuwen vol historische keerpunten. A lovely short trip. The palace is a bout half an hour drive from Budapest center. Our driver was very courteous and arrived on time. Your driver will drop you at the entrance of the palace and purchase the tickets for you. Then you can take audio-guided tour through the palace. It was surprisingly a nice walkthrough with lots of history, not only focused on Sisi but also on previous owners of the palace and the Hapsburgs in general.

My husband and I had a wonderful time at Godollo with our guide, Denny. He knew Habsburg history inside and out, and he took time to show us unique corners and places in the palace. I loved the delicious "Sisi's cake" at the end of the tour. If we are in Budapest again, I would want Denny to be our guide. Highly recommend.
