Ga met ons mee voor een 3,5 uur durende magische mysterietour door Barceloneta, de Gotische wijk en El Born! Onze gepassioneerde gidsen zullen de geschiedenis van Barcelona tot leven brengen, besprenkeld met lokale tradities en, natuurlijk, geweldig eten! Denk aan legendarische "Bombas", beroemde Patatas Bravas, en nog veel meer heerlijkheid. We hebben het over lokale kazen, vleeswaren, hemelse huisgemaakte mousserende wijn & Cava, en de verfrissende "Clara" - in principe, een feest in je mond! Deze tour is de ultieme combinatie : ongelooflijk eten en 2000 jaar geschiedenis, allemaal samengebracht in één epische ervaring. Verdwaal (op een goede manier!) in de middeleeuwse straatjes van het oude Barcino (aka Barcelona), en ontdek verborgen familie gerunde restaurants, bodega's en tavernes die je in geen enkele gids zult vinden. Voor uw eerste proeverijavontuur bezoeken we een authentieke Catalaanse bar waar u kennismaakt met twee echt traditionele gerechten en om ervoor te zorgen dat u de dingen op de juiste manier kunt beginnen, heeft u een aantal van de beste Cava die u zult proeven. ooit ervaring!
Terwijl we het hart van de middeleeuwse wijk Born inlopen en ons foodie-avontuur vervolgen, stoppen we bij een 14e-eeuwse bodega (wijnkelder). Deze prachtige bodega is altijd gevuld met locals die het leven ten volste leven, dus laat ons je onderdompelen in enkele overheerlijke traditionele tapas en natuurlijk een verfrissende Clara!
Voordat we onze derde stop maken, gaan we naar het oudste deel van de stad, de Gotische wijk, die een labyrint van kronkelige smalle straatjes heeft met enkele van de meer interessante en mooiste pleinen. Je deskundige gids brengt verhalen over deze pleinen tot leven met inbegrip van enkele geheimen en legendes. Om verder te gaan met onze foodie tour zullen we stoppen bij een door een familie gerunde bodega waar je twee tot drie tapa's zult hebben, vergezeld van het huiselijke "Vermut" (het geprefereerde aperitief voor de lokale bevolking).
Een door een familie gerunde Catalaanse taverne zal onze laatste stop zijn. Op dit punt van je wijn, eten & geschiedenis tour zullen we een leuke verrassing voor je hebben (geloof me als ik zeg dat je er enorm van zult genieten). Hint: het gaat om wijn en, natuurlijk, ongelooflijk eten!

Adrian, our guide, was brilliant. Even though this was my sixth time in Barcelona, Adrian shared so much about the history, what to do and where. Good mix of different places to eat, drink and visit. Kept kids and adults entertained alike. I'm glad we did this the day after we arrived, as it gave us a list of places to visit and things to do over the following days. Totally worth it.

This was a very culturally enriching experience! The guide Adrian took us to some really great local spots for authentic tapas and local wine, all were very tasty! I’d recommend this tour and, even do it again myself!

Great Food Tour. Adrian knows the town and the places to go. We had a wide range of local food and wine and all the recommendations were spot on. We even ent to a couple of the spots recommended on the tour and they were great as well. Highly recommend this tour!

I never give bad reviews but with all the other tapas tour options , this is probably a bottom tier tour. We booked for 12 and the guide was a no-show , I called him and the guide said he accidentally booked it for 5. We went back at 5 and he was kinda rude and very pretentious, many awkward moments and he was basically making fun of us as tourists. I would say skip this one and choose another tapas tour.
Adrian was great, gave us the history plus current-day inside tips on where to eat, shop and avoid. Super interesting history. The food and drinks were great!

After several emails and texts saying that the tour was happening, we arrived at the designated meeting spot 15 minutes early. Half-an-hour later NO ONE from the tour company had arrived. I checked with the restaurant that was our meeting spot and they did not know anything about this tour. I immediately contacted TripAdvisor to request a full refund, which happened within 2 days. I wish I could give this tour NO STARS. We were greatly disappointed that it didn't occur. We never heard anything from the tour company or TripAdvisor why the tour didn't happen.

We really enjoyed our food tour around Barcelona, visiting bars and experiencing food we would not have known to try. Our guide, Adrian, was very knowledgeable about the local history and traditions and expertly guided us around. We enjoyed it so much, we went back to experience a couple of the venues on our own the following day.
It was a fun tour through the nice neighborhoods of Barcelona. Adrian was a friendly tour guide and knew a lot about the city. At each place you got a drink and a tapa. It was delicious! I would definitely recommend this tour.
