Barossa / Hahndorf tours Deze eet- en wijnervaring toont de boetiek en de meer bekende wijnhuizen en gastronomische culinaire hoogstandjes van de beroemde wijnstreek van Zuid-Australië - The Barossa Valley. We beginnen met Maggie Beer's Farm Shop op deze tour met 2 wijnproeverijen bij onze gekozen wijnhuizen en lunch bij een van de wijnhuizen voor de dag. Dit is een groepsreis met de gedeelde ervaring voor de dag en aantallen kunnen oplopen tot 30 personen, die kunnen worden ondergebracht in een auto, minibus en bus / touringcar. Wine tastings below average. Mostly younger wines which were supermarket quality. Need to upspec wine quality. Deep our driver was excellent and made the trip enjoyable and fun.

We accidentally booked our tour on a 45 degree day so two businesses we were supposed to go to were closed and lots of shops in Hahndorf were also shut. Management did not care that half the tour was cut and only offered extra time in Hahndorf to compensate despite the glaring difference in value. Thankfully though our tour guide Wazza was amazing - he arranged for us to go to a chocolate factory and a cheese factory to fill in the extra time and genuinely wanted everyone to have an amazing day. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the area and so funny and easy to talk to. He clearly loves his job and takes pride in each of his tours. Will definitely be booking another tour with him (on a cooler day) the next time we are in Adelaide.

Absolutely great day. Not too rushed, our driver / guide was great. The wineries we visited were fantastic especially Kies Family winery. Ordered a case from there. If you have a full day spare highly recommended this tour.

Very small van, difficult to get in and out if you are stuck in the third row. Very high step into the van, ascwell. Frankly...damn near impossible for older folks like my wife and I. Also, short stops...and one too many stops. The small little chocolate "factory" was a waste of time. At the wine tasting stops, the driver was literally standing nearby checking his watch the entire time. Why bring a group to a winery for tasting, but give people no time to discuss and order some wine. The winery staffs at both locations were great, but the driver was impatient. When we arrived in Hahndorf, we only had 40 minutes to walk the length of Mainstreet... to get back to the bus he parked about a mile away for some reason. 4 of us were in our 70s. The young lady in the group had to find a restroom. None of us had more than 10 minutes to actually pop into a store or order a cup of coffee to enjoy our time. Personally, I think the driver needed to get back into town by 5 pm to pick up his kids from daycare or something. Maybe the distances the tour tried to cover are just too many miles apart.
