Ontdek Sintra, een UNESCO Werelderfgoed tijdens deze dagtour. Bewonder de stad per minibus, omgeven door een natuurpark, een middeleeuws kasteel, paleizen en chalets. Wandel door de middeleeuwse straatjes van Sintra en rij door het nationale park. Geniet van de zeldzame fauna, de unieke bomen, het Moorse kasteel, Monserrate Palace en de verschillende chalets langs de weg. Verwelkom Sintra door een bezoek te brengen aan Quinta da Regaleira, een plaats doordrenkt van mystiek. Het beschikt over een paleis omgeven door weelderige, vorstelijke tuinen, meren, grotten en raadselachtige structuren die alchemistische geheimen verbergen – in navolging van de tradities van de Vrijmetselaars, Tempeliers en Rozenkruisers. Bezoek vervolgens het Pena Palace, een van de meest indrukwekkende architectonische uitingen van de 19e-eeuwse romantiek ter wereld, en een van de zeven wonderen van Portugal. Ga verder naar het meest westelijke punt van continentaal Europa bij Roca Cape. Reis tenslotte langs de Atlantische kust. Passeer Cascais, Estoril en Guincho strand.

Ophaallocaties en -tijden
Gratis ophalen en afzetten bij uw hotel of appartement in Lissabon. Onze pick-ups zijn tussen 7u45 en 8u15. Uw exacte ophaaltijd geven wij de dag voor de tour door. • U moet de tickets voor Pena Palace alvast kopen op hun website. Je moet het 14u30 (2u30pm) slot selecteren. Het is belangrijk dat je alleen voor deze gokkast koopt, omdat we alle groepen tegelijkertijd organiseren. • De kaartjes zijn vaak uitverkocht. Als u uw tickets niet op voorhand koopt, kunnen we de beschikbaarheid bij de ingang van het Paleis niet garanderen, zodat u uiteindelijk gewoon de buitenkant en de tuinen kunt bezoeken.

My mom and I took this tour with Luis as our guide. It is a small group tour, which we loved, with a total of 8 people. Luis picked us up directly from our hotel and drove straight to Cascais for a brief stop to see this town, which was formerly the summer spot for the royal family. We then headed to the most westerly point of continental Europe, Cape Roca, with gorgeous views of the Atlantic Ocean and the cliffs. We then headed to Sintra and walked through the town to Regaleira, which is such a fascinating place. We then had about an hour and twenty minutes of free time for lunch and shopping. Luis recommended a great local restaurant and showed us the two pastries that are specific to Sintra for us to try. We ended our day at Pena Palace, which is a gorgeous place, but it was quite busy. We were lucky that the other places weren't too busy. Throughout the tour, Luis was a wealth of knowledge about the places we were visiting and the history of Portugal in general. He was a great guide, and he made our entire day seamless. We lucked out with amazing fellow travellers. My one caution is that this trip includes a lot of uphill walking and stairs to Regaleira and Pena Palace, so if you have mobility issues or difficulties navigating stairs, this tour is not for you as the day flows at a steady pace. Thank you, Luis, for sharing some of your country with us. We thoroughly enjoyed our day.

Loved the small group setting. Pick up and drop off made the tour less stressful and relaxing. Luis our guide was awesome, very knowledgeable, pleasure to travel with and very accommodating to the groups needs.
Luis was our guide today and he was great.. he explained everything very well to us and made the experience very enjoyable. I can't give him more stars because I can't, but he deserves many more..
Guide Luis was helpful, very knowledgeable, and very fluent in the language. He was kind and answered all our questions; it is truly worth it. The trip itself is beautiful, highly recommended even with the pickup; it stopped in Cascais and Cabo da Roca, we are really satisfied!
