Breng een volledige dag door met het verkennen van vier van Portugals meest geliefde bezienswaardigheden aan de kust en op heuvels, allemaal in één zorgvuldig uitgestippelde route waarmee u de rij- en parkeerstress kunt overslaan. Vanaf een centraal ontmoetingspunt in Lissabon stapt u in een minibus met airconditioning en gaat u westwaarts naar de zonovergoten baai van Cascais, waar u in de vrije tijd een kopje koffie kunt drinken in de jachthaven of een wandeling langs het strand kunt maken. Ga verder over de ruige Guincho kustweg naar Cabo da Roca, het meest westelijke punt van het vasteland van Europa, waar kliffen zich beneden in de Atlantische Oceaan storten. Geniet vervolgens van vrije tijd voor de lunch in het historische centrum van Sintra. De dag eindigt op de zonovergoten terrassen van Pena Palace, een 19e-eeuws juweel met een prachtig uitzicht op het Moorse kasteel en het omliggende bos. Je dag begint bij een centraal ontmoetingspunt in Lissabon voor Hard Rock Cafe Lisboa aan de Av. da Liberdade. Zoek naar je Gids met een bord en stap vervolgens in de minibus met airconditioning voor de schilderachtige rit naar het westen richting de Atlantische kust.
Trek het zonovergoten badplaatsje Cascais binnen en geniet van vrije tijd om de benen te strekken langs de baai. Geniet van een kopje koffie of gebak in een jachthavencafé of wandel over de zandstranden van dit voormalige koninklijke toevluchtsoord.
Ga verder over de ruige Guincho kustweg naar Cabo da Roca, het meest westelijke punt van het vasteland van Europa. In de vrije tijd bij de vuurtoren kun je kliffen fotograferen die in de Atlantische Oceaan duiken en aan de letterlijke rand van het continent staan.
Rol Sintra Center binnen voor vrije tijd tussen de geplaveide straten, pastelkleurige gevels en banketbakkerijen. Zoek op eigen kosten een lokale plek voor de lunch, of vraag je Gids om aanbevelingen over waar je het beroemde travesseiros-gebak kunt proberen.
Stap op de zonovergoten terrassen van Pena Palace, een 19e-eeuws paleis dat in rood en geel is geschilderd met Moorse, gotische en Manuelijnse invloeden. Wandel door de beboste tuinen naar uitkijkpunten op heuvels die het Moorse kasteel omlijsten en eindeloze uitgestrektheid van bomen en water.
Cruise terug naar Lissabon na een volledige dag verkennen, en kom aan bij hetzelfde centrale ontmoetingspunt op Av. da Liberdade. Vraag uw Gids om aanbevelingen voor het diner voordat u vertrekt om van uw avond te genieten.

Sofia was an excellent tour guide and Louie was a great driver. The tour itself brought us to some really cool places and the pace was perfect. We had time to learn, take pictures, and explore but never lingered in one spot too long. It was a perfect mix of scenic views, history, and meandering. I wouldn’t even be able to pick a favorite part. Sofia was really what brought the trip to life. She’s incredibly knowledgeable and personable, making sure to connect with each one of us individually and keep the group engaged (we had some quizzes, ha!). She was also really funny. Louie got us to each destination safely and with precision. I would definitely recommend this trip to family or friends, especially if you can get the Sofia & Louie duo.
Nev made our day exploring Sintra, the Atlantic coast, and Cascais truly special! She was friendly, knowledgeable, and engaging, and made everyone feel comfortable from the very beginning. Her stories and insights brought each place to life and added a personal and fun touch to the whole experience. The organization was amazing from start to finish. Visiting Pena Palace and other stops on your own in one day would be quite difficult, but the minibus made everything so easy and comfortable. It was the perfect way to experience three very different and beautiful places without worrying about transport, parking, or planning. It was a perfect mix of history, spectacular views, and enough time to enjoy each destination without ever feeling rushed. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area!

Booked the tour with TheTourGuys. Our guide was Nev who was very knowledgeable with the areas we were taken. Gave us fun facts and suggested places to eat. This was such a lovely tour! Rui was a fabulous and dedicated tour guide and his knowledge of this area of Portugal was outstanding. He also knows where all the good photo ops are at all the sites. The pickup and drop off was super easy by the Hard Rock Cafe and the minibus is super comfortable. Be prepared to walk but it is a wondered tour! Highly recommend!
