This tour was absolutely perfect. Our guide Chiara explained everything with such passion and such knowledge that she brought the history back to life. I can’t imagine a better tour of the Basilica - this tour with this guide is amazing.

The Basilica is so impressive without a tour but the tour added more detail and significance to the entire experience. I saw so much more detail because of the experience.

A great tour made all the better with our guide Chiara - very knowledgable but also with a great sense of humour that made the experience memorable. Chiara has an excellent knowledge of Rome and the Vatican anyway, but her side comments and subtle humour had us in stitches at times! Well worth paying a little extra to get the tour and if you can see if Chiara is available on the day you visit.
