Begin de tour door opgehaald te worden bij je hotel, op weg naar het historische dorp Silves, waar je dit dorp in de Algarve zult ontdekken. Het kasteel is een must-see en u zult dit fantastische monument in detail kunnen verkennen. De tour gaat dan verder met de kathedraal van Silves, evenals het Archeologisch Museum van Silves, een unieke plek vol historische stukken die de geschiedenis van de regio vertellen. Verken de bergen voor een aantal panoramische uitzichten, daarna gaat u verder naar Fóia, het hoogste punt in de Algarve en een van de grootste in Portugal. Met 902 meter hoogte. Definitely worth going to see beautiful sites and scenery. Our tour guide Mario was friendly guy and gave us loads of local information.
It was fun and we saw a big portion of the Algarve. The driver was very informative. We had some free time for shopping and such.
My original tour for Lagos was cancelled due to not enough people however the company got in touch and rebooked this tour for me , no fuss or hassle. The tour guide Andre was lovley giving a lot of information making stops along the way so we can see and explore ! I managed to see the cathedral the museum and the castle ! It did rain but we managed to stop at a few shops and I felt really safe as a solo female traveller
The driver/tour guide Mario, is an enthusiastic narrator, making the trip more interesting. Due to his enthusiasm, the excursion took longer than planned because he took the time for us!

Our guide Benny was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and good fun. A great 1/2 day trip to the mountains...... very different to the coast.
Before making a tour, make sure places we pay to visit are open. We were expecting to visit church next to fortress in Silves but was closed👎 Tour mentioned optional lunch but it was never offered? Density in back seats of VW Van, very rough ride. Pick up at front of our condo was very appreciated.
Mario was a very good guide and very knowledgeable, especially about Monchique and it's social culture. Silves is definitely worth a visit too with such a historical background. Would recommend this tour if you want to see different aspects of the Algarve away from the beautiful beaches and golf courses.
Despite we were not lucky with the weather, we have spent a great time with our guide Paulo. A highly recommended trip!
