If you’re considering a guided kayak tour at Silver Springs, book it—you won’t regret it! We toured with Steve Tyndall from Kayaking Florida, and he was absolutely outstanding. He was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about the wildlife and history of the springs. If we ever come back, we would request Steve again without hesitation. The tour itself was unforgettable. Silver Springs is absolutely breathtaking, with crystal-clear water and beautiful scenery around every bend. We were lucky enough to see alligators, turtles, river otters, countless species of birds and fish, and the highlight of the day—a whole troop of monkeys! Toward the end of our tour, we had’t seen any monkeys yet. But them we crossed paths with another kayaker who said they had spotted one near the bridge. By the time we reached the bridge, there wasn’t just one monkey—there were so many! It was such an incredible surprise and the perfect ending to an already amazing experience. Unfortunately, we didn’t see any manatees during our trip, but Steve shared some incredible videos he had personally captured of them, which was a great bonus and showed how much he genuinely enjoys sharing the beauty of the springs with his guests. This was one of the highlights of our Florida vacation. The combination of stunning scenery, abundant wildlife, and an exceptional guide made for an experience we’ll never forget. We highly recommend Kayaking Florida, and especially Steve Tyndall, to anyone looking for an unforgettable adventure at Silver Springs!

We had an AMAZING guided tour on Silver Springs, with Steve as our guide! We went with a family of 5. 4 adults and a 10 year old. Steve was patient, kind and incredibly informative. Kayaking Florida certainly has a wonderful steward to the waterways and the wildlife beneath its surfaces! We saw so much wildlife and even had the chance to see a pregnant Devine (a resident manatee). Thank you for a wonderful day of kayaking in such a beautiful location! Five stars all the way!!!!

Even before arrival, this was well organized, informative and a class act organization. They sent a text the day of explaining when/where to arrive, what to do when arrive etc. We arrived and it was so smooth. They were all friendly, took the kayak to the water and made sure we were all set and helped set us off into the water Turned out we were the only one booked for the time slot so we had a one on one tour with Steve. He was friendly, very knowledgeable and an amazing photographer. We had a blast and saw so much while also learning so much about the springs, the area, the history and the wildlife. If you want a great tour, pick this company...it was well worth the money. It was a wonderful way to spend the morning and he even gave us ideas of what to do after the tour! Thank you so much.

Justin was a great guide. He told many stories and ensured we saw as many y things as we could. He even took pictures on his own and air dropped them at no charge. I would recommend bathing suits, water, and towels. They do provide dry bags in the canoes.

Kevin was a wealth of information about Silver Springs about the animals, especially about the animals and very personable very pleasant did not rush us through the tour we gotdone on time. It was wonderful if I was coming again I would ask for him.

Amazing day with Steve as our guide who made our day by pointing out the amazing wildlife, we seen manatees, monkeys, otter, snake, gators lots of gators even one eating a deer … loads of beautiful birds and turtles. Amazing couple of hours with a great knowledgeable guide

Amazing tour from Steve with Kayaking Florida! Great time seeing all of the wildlife and getting some facts about the park. 10/10!

Day beautiful, Guide Chris superb, saw mama manatees with another one, turtles swimming under the kayak, fish, especially mullet, alligators, birds- anhingas, cormorants, blue heins, white egrets, wood ducks, very clear water, spikey lilies, old cedar trees, multiple dragonflies- so no mosquitoes, sunken boat from 1960s movie, Don't Give Up the Ship, and much more. For 74 year old nonswimmers in a tandem and beginner kayakers, it was at our pace - Chris knows the currents so we did not paddle that hard as we went with the current most of the time. We did the 2 hour tour and not sore the day after! If you want to see monkeys, need to go further down the river or book 4 hour tour.

This was a great kayaking tour. Steve our tour guide was fantastic! The water was so clear and blue! We saw a family of manatee, a monkey, birds turtles alligator and fish. Such a great way to spend a few hours on the water!
