My tour guide was Steve Tyndall and he was awesome! Only bad thing about it was, it wasn’t long enough for me! Lol! Will def be going back!
Lovely and peaceful. Full of wildlife! We saw a manatee, all kinds of birds, turtles, fish, and several gators. Very crystal clear water. Steve is an excellent guide. Highly recommend but know it can be very crowded.
So much fun! Knowledge guide that provided wonderful history and information. The wild and marine life was amazing to see! Highly recommend!
Steve from Kayaking Florida was absolutely amazing! I'm so glad we didn't book through the park And we worked with Kayaking Florida. Steve was extremely personable, funny and knew all the right spots to go to find wildlife, tons of crocodiles and even a manatee. Absolutely worth every penny.
Ashley and the team were amazing. Communication leading up to our event was great and everyone was helpful. What a perfect day!
Thats such a nice thing to say. We are grateful that things went smoothly and that the team was on top of their game for you! Cannot wait to see you at Rainbow Springs next! Let's snorkel and swim!
Great experience. Our guide was awesome. He was as so knowledgeable and pointed so many things out. We would go again.
Thank you for the great review! We strive to do the best we can and make great memories for our guests. :) See us at Rainbow Springs for a Snorkel and Swim next!
Steve Tyndall was an EXCEPTIONAL tour guide. I don't believe I could have had a better experience with anyone else. Steve was incredibly knowledge about all of the wildlife, the property, and the history behind it. I traveled solo from Seattle to Florida for a conference, and the paddle with Steve felt like spending the day with a friend. I can't recommend this tour and Steve enough!
Steve is very patient and kind. He really knows the springs and especially the birds! Please for sure come back and see us again during manatee season! We love that you had such a wonderful time.
Justin is a wonderful guide! He is super knowledgeable about the area and taught us quite a bit about the local flora, fauna, and history.
So glad you had a great tour with Justin. He knows so much about the sorings and is very relaxed which makes our guests feel at ease too! Come see him at Blue or Alexander Springs.
The kayaking experience was beautiful! Steve and Justin were very helpful upon launching giving us all the safety information. And our guide on the water (Steve) was amazing at teaching and showing us different springs, sites, and wildlife. He even takes pictures along the trip of you and whoever you’re with. Aling with pictures of wildlife we end up seeing. Would highly recommend!
Steve takes his time to make sure you truly enjoy the trip and get every bit of knowledge you can to take home with you. He is very passionate and loves what he does. Justin is always a great help too- he loves to keep things moving along smoothly. :)
I just want to warn everyone: stay away from the shoreline and from any stumps where turtles might be! Wild red wasps build their nests there. A strong current or the wind blew my kayak against one of those stumps, and I was viciously stung by a swarm of wasps. The pain from the stings is excruciating . Even medication doesn't help. Unfortunately, I had a terrible experience; it was my first time kayaking, and I was trying to stay as calm and steady as possible, but nature has a mind of its own. No one came to my aid! Moreover , I was with a guide and a group. Everyone watched as the wasps were biting me… It was awful. I screamed for help, but ultimately, it’s the wild, and I realize you’re on your own out there. Please take care of yourselves and your children!
We do apologize that the wind blew you into a wasps nest like that. While we cannot control the wind nor the wild life our guide did offer you help as soon as it happened and offered to take you back to shore immediately to render aid. You declined to do so and wanted to finish the tour. Upon arrival from the tour we did render aid at our station and made sure to offer you whatever help we could provide and offered rescue if needed. We truly apologize that that happened. We did everything humanly possible to make sure you were okay. Perhaps a trip in December would be more suiting when its colder out and manatees are more abundant.
