We beginnen in de haven als u per cruise of uw hotel in Sihanouk Ville aankomt en gaan naar de vissershaven Tumnuk Rolok en kijken hoe vissers hun dagelijkse activiteiten doen terwijl ze 's nachts in de open zee vissen en vroeg terugkeren naar de haven in de ochtend. De vissershaven en het dorp bieden geweldige fotomomenten. Overdag meren boten aan in de haven en repareren de vissers hun visnetten en werken aan hun boten.
Daarna reizen we terug naar de stad om de Phsar Leu Centrale Markt te bezoeken, waar je een glimp krijgt van de lokale dagelijkse levensstijl en cultuur. Verken marktsecties zoals fruit, zeevruchten, kleding, sieraden, Khmer-eten en diverse andere lokale goederen.
Lunch / koffiepauze: Meestal maakt uw gids op deze plaatsen een pauze Zeester Café Sihanoukville Dit is echt een mooie, rustige plek met veilig eten. Je kunt ook buiten in een schaduwrijke tuin zitten. Deze plaats heeft gratis snelle WiFi voor hun klanten. Het is meer een koffie dan een restaurant. De meeste klanten vinden deze plek leuk. Omdat Cambodja een boeddhistisch land is, is het tijd om de Khmer-cultuur en religie te verkennen. We bezoeken de pagodes die zoveel respect verdienen en geloven van de lokale bevolking, waaronder Wat Leu omgeven door bos en uitkijkt over de stad, de oceaan en de nabijgelegen eilanden en Wat Krom met veel beelden van de Boeddha.
Je gids brengt je naar een klein dorpje buiten Sihanoukville om het dagelijkse leven op het platteland van dichterbij te bekijken. Hier kun je zien hoe de mensen op het platteland leven en werken. Je ziet traditionele huizen, mensen die thuis of op het land werken. Voordat we terugkeren naar uw schip/hotel, maken we een korte stop bij een eenzaam, mooi, wit zandstrand.

Ophaallocaties en -tijden
Het ontmoetingspunt van het cruiseschip is de uitgang van de haven (gate 01), omdat uw gids de haven niet in kan, net als alle andere gidsen. De haven is niet erg groot. De beste manier is om een heel klein stukje van de pier naar de uitgang te lopen! Ongeveer. 08:00 Alternatief: u kunt een wachtende shuttlebus nemen bij de pier, maar vraag eventueel vooraf of deze bus stopt bij de uitgang (gate 01) Meestal rijdt er een kleinere bus alleen voor de uitgang van de transferpier. Kijk of vraag naar de pendelbus. Normaal gesproken stopt de shuttlebus altijd bij gate 01. Maar maak je geen zorgen, de vergadering gaat wel door. Alle gidsen bij de uitgang zijn op zoek naar de mensen die ook naar buiten komen! Wij zullen u na het reserveren meer details verstrekken, zoals een bord waar u op moet letten. Je gids zal er op tijd zijn en zal op je wachten als je te laat bent

As we had already done a tour the day before provided by the cruise’s line, Jan and Mr. k were able to adapt on the fly and provide us with a fully customized wonderful experience. Jan had wonderful English and was very knowledgeable. We were taken to SOKHA hotel and beach and were able to lay on the beach and enjoy drinks by the pool. There was an additional charge to use the hotel amenities, $20 per person but well worth it. We then asked to go to Independence Hotel where we had a wonderful lunch at the Sunset Restaurant (there were 97 steps down to the restaurant) and were able to take pictures of the Macaque monkeys. Afterwards we were taken to the central market where we able to view the local products and make some purchases.
We were meet at the cruise terminal then went to a fishing village. Our guide was very informative, he then took us to a Temple in the country which was a bit quieter. It was stunning, The guide for the day was excellent. We went to a market and he even helped us cross the road, which was mad.

A good tour, the local guide and an air condition vehicle in a very hot climate that allowed us to really enjoy the city. It’s sad what happened here with Covid and the departure of investors in the middle of building structures. Hopefully the city will recover someday. That said everyone was very friendly. We enjoyed the market. Our guides were very proud of where they were from. The guide was very supportive of offering whatever you wanted to do

Today, we did a half day dolphin spotting tour in Kratie. We arrived in the town and had no clou what we are going to do. We decided to see the dolphins and went straight to the office of Mr. City. He was such a nice guy and organized us a half day on the river the same day. We were leaving the hotel about 2pm. A guy called Ben was picking us up. He was also really kind and explained us everything about the animals and answered every single question. After seeing the dolphins for about one hour, we went to an island on the Mekong river to hang out a little bit and take some pictures. We hat an amazing time with the greatest guide you could ask for. I can recommend the tour to everyone! Kind regards
This half day tour was absolutely perfect. The guide was extremely nice and told us a lot of anecdotes, we learnt a lot about cambodian way of life and all the great stuff we visited (sticky rice factory, dolphin tour, rice wine distillery, mountain pagoda). I did this tour for my birthday and I feel so blessed to have seen so many great things for this special day. I completely recommend the tour.
Our guide was fantastic. We had previously been out on a kayaking trip to see the dolphins with him so were delighted that he was to be our guide for this trip. This half day (afternoon) tour was just the two of us and our guide and we had the opportunity to visit local villagers making rice noodles, whisky, the traditional bamboo sticky rice dish as well as visit a brick factory. Fascinating!

It was really great. We were yesterday with sokra at the dolphins and were really lucky. We were mostly the only boat and could see several groups of animals. A unique experience to watch this rare freshwater dolphin species. In addition, at the mekong was a very particularly nice atmosphere with the many in islet background. We heard a lot about cambodia again and gained new impressions. A perfect day. And finally we saw the gigantic sunset on the mekong.
