Onze eerste stop is het idyllische dorpje Viscri, waar we een van de best bewaarde versterkte kerken van Roemenië bezoeken. Viscri Village, genesteld in het hart van Transsylvanië, is een verborgen juweeltje dat je terugvoert in de tijd. De geplaveide straatjes slingeren door charmante, eeuwenoude huizen versierd met levendige bloemen en bieden een kijkje in het landelijke Roemeense leven zoals het al generaties lang is. Ontdek vervolgens Sighisoara, een middeleeuws stadje met een rijke geschiedenis. Terwijl we door de geplaveide straten dwalen, word je teruggevoerd in de tijd naar vervlogen tijden en ontdek je de geboorteplaats van Vlad de Spietser, die de beruchte Dracula inspireerde. Geniet van een heerlijke lunch met het rijke culinaire erfgoed van Roemenië. Onze tour omvat comfortabel vervoer, deskundige gidsen en fotomomenten. Ontmoetingspunt op het Raadsplein bij de waterfontein om 9.00 uur.
Bezoek de middeleeuwse stad Sighisoara - UNESCO-werelderfgoed en de geboorteplaats van Vlad de Spietser. Zo schitterend zijn de pastelkleurige gebouwen, steenachtige steegjes en middeleeuwse torens van Sighişoara, je zult je ogen uitwrijven van ongeloof. Versterkte muren omringen de glanzende koopmanshuizen van Sighişoara, waar nu cafés, hotels en ambachtswinkels zijn gevestigd. Bezoek de middeleeuwse stad Sighisoara, waaronder de klokkentoren, de kerk op de heuvel en het huis waar Vlad de Spietser werd geboren. Lopend langs de muur die de citadel van Sighisoara omringt, bewonderen we de vijf eeuwenoude huizen samen met de torens die zijn gebouwd door verschillende gilden van de citadel, waarvan de torens van de Schoenmakers, Kleermakers en Tin Makers Guilds het meest indrukwekkend zijn. We bezoeken de kerk op de heuvel, maar niet voordat we de 175 overdekte trappen hebben beklommen die in 1642 zijn gebouwd om de toegang voor de schoolkinderen te vergemakkelijken. Een traditionele lunch kan worden geregeld in het middeleeuwse stadje Sighisoara in het Dracula House Restaurant!
Bezoek Viscri, een authentiek Transsylvanisch dorp en de oudste versterkte kerk in Transsylvanië en UNESCO-werelderfgoed. Wandelen door dit betoverende dorp is alsof je teruggaat in de tijd! Zelfs Prins Charles van Wales, aangetrokken door de schoonheid van dit gebied, kocht hier een paar jaar geleden een huis. Bezoek het huis van Prins Charles van Wales. Met een middeleeuws fort in het hart en landelijke weiden in de omgeving, belichaamt Viscri de romantiek van het landelijke Transsylvanië. Uit de middeleeuwse versterkte kerk van Viscri vloeien geplaveide straatjes geflankeerd door rijen korenbloemblauwe huizen. De enige geluiden zijn het geratel van paardenkarren en het gekletter van een smidse. Het dorp Viscri blijft een van de best bewaarde Saksische dorpen in Roemenië. Maak een wandeling door het dorp en ontdek een cultureel en natuurlijk landschap dat in de meeste delen van Europa is verdwenen. Tijd gereserveerd voor het maken van foto's en wandelen door het dorp. Je gids leidt je naar de beste plekken!

Marius (I am sorry I am not sure of the spelling) gave us an amazing tour to places that give an amazing history into Romania. This area is rich in history which shaped where the country is today. I felt these areas are hidden treasures that everyone should explore. One of the best tours we have had. Thank you Marius for a wonderful day!

This was a great way to visit areas outside Brasov. The van was very comfortable and the scenery on the drive was beautiful, a really great way to travel. Mimi was a fantastic guide and was so open to being flexible with the group. She gave us great information about the area and all the best things to check out, she's a perfect tour guide! I would recommend anyone do this trip, you'll get to see some really beautiful places in a really beautiful country!

He had so many interesting stories to share about places we went and beyond. This trip was the last tour on our Romanian trip and we have learnt so much we have not heard on other tours. Both towns are simply beautiful. Very authentic. If ended up being one of my favorite days in Romania.

I joined Bogdan’s tour and had a really great experience. Brilliant tour from Bogdan, picked up at 9am at the Central square. Full of great information and always happy to answer questions and accommodating when requesting to go into areas of the towns. Fully recommend this tour so glad we did it and to visit other parts of Romania away from the city's.
