Je jeeptour bij zonsondergang op het platteland begint door je op te halen bij je accommodatie. Eerst zal onze gids een korte introductie geven van de hoogtepunten van de tour van vandaag. Daarna nemen we je mee naar plaatsen die je anders niet zou kennen buiten de stad en bezoeken we Siem Reap minder gezien.
Je stopt in een klein en charmant dorp om een pauze te nemen en meer te leren over de lokale bevolking en hun levensonderhoud. Leer de lokale bevolking en het weelderige landschap kennen tijdens deze spannende tour! Dit is een perfecte gelegenheid om een kant van Siem Reap te zien die veel mensen niet kunnen zien, er zijn meerdere schilderachtige plekken waar je zult stoppen, waaronder rijstvelden, lokale boerderijen en champignonkwekerijen.
Daarna krijg je een korte rondleiding om de boeddhistische tempel in het dorp te verkennen om de Cambodjaanse boeddhistische praktijken te begrijpen en te luisteren naar de waarzeggerij van de Khmer.
Beëindig de tour door een perfecte plek in de rijstvelden te vinden voor een geweldige fotomoment met het landelijke landschap, en drankjes worden geserveerd terwijl je naar de zonsondergang over het rijstveld kijkt.

We really enjoyed our visit to the countryside in our Jeep Tour. Lyna, our guide, really painted a vivid picture of life in the countryside surrounding Siem Reap, while visiting the homes of locals to see how they lived and worked. Absolutely amazing trip! Rain was fantastic and took us round the countryside, meeting locals and explaining so much to us. We ended the magical trip at a lotus farm with fresh local fish, Cambodia Lite and the sunset! Thank you Rain!!

This was a very memorable and special trip that we can highly recommend to anyone visiting Siem Reap. It gives you wonderful insight in to the daily life of Cambodians and also the country side finishing with a beautiful sunset overlooking the Lotus lake. The food at the final destination watching the sunset was fresh and a true taste of Cambodia. Our guide Bunsom and the driver were both knowledgeable, courteous and friendly.
Bunsom was so great and accommodating for our little group of 3 during the low season. We went to a few different farms in the countryside and learned about what goes into farming, especially at the mushroom farm. It was so interesting to learn what work goes into growing the oyster mushrooms, and equally disheartening learning of how bad the growth has been this year :( We are so grateful for the people who allowed us to visit their homes and farms, and we gained a new appreciation for the hard work of cambodian people. We ended with a small meal at a lovely restaurant overlooking the fields, and though we didnt get the conditions for a sunset it was still a beautiful view! Just a word of warning, during the rainy season it will be muddy at every stop so wear appropriate shoes and clothing!
