U steunt een van 's werelds zeldzaamste textieltradities - de productie van lotuszijde - met slechts een paar honderd ambachtslieden die dit eeuwenoude ambacht wereldwijd uitoefenen. Deze sociale onderneming heeft Cambodjaanse vrouwen op het platteland mondiger gemaakt sinds 2003. De ervaring culmineert in een rustige boottocht door ongerepte lotusvelden waar u de natuurlijke schoonheid fotografeert die uw handwerk inspireerde. De meeste Siem Reap activiteiten bieden natuur OF cultuur – dit levert beide in perfecte harmonie. Kleine groepen zorgen voor gepersonaliseerde instructie van meesterambachtslieden. Je krijgt diepe culturele kennis buiten de tempels. Elke handgemaakte creatie staat voor authentieke vaardigheden die generaties lang zijn doorgegeven. Very good welcome, in French for my part. Interesting explanations. 3 nice and not too long workshops. Then departure by golf cart to visit the lotus pond. A beautiful moment. Solo traveler but is well suited for children. Some sites offered 6 workshops
We did masterclass which was great.. Would of been good to do the boat ride first up as it was very hot and windy on boat in the arvo... The guide was great and all the craft classes were enjoyable... The only real negative is that you have to wait for a day or 2 to get your scarf and paper and go back to Maison cafe to retrieve them they don't get delivered to your hotel... And this wasn't mentioned on booking and if you were doing this on your last day in Siem reap you wouldn't be able to retrieve your goods... But everything else was amazing...

Amazing experience ! Such a beutiful community of beutiful women who do everything with love. Doing all the invents, painting the scarf, doing the thread and many more .. the river cruise- this is jut a cherry on top ! Again amazing ladies who made the most beutiful bouquet I have ever received . And must try lotus ice cream in the kichen . The restaurant has amazing view where you can have also nice Lotos tea. Must do trip if you like to do crafts .
