Ervaar het nachtleven van Siem Reap vanaf de achterkant van een vintage Vespa tijdens een avondtour van 4,5 uur. Proef authentiek Cambodjaans straatvoedsel terwijl je geniet van de rit. De straatvoedselscène in Siem Reap doordringt elke lokale plaats en steeg. De stad heeft zoveel eettentjes op straat dat het soms aanvoelt als een gigantisch openluchtrestaurant. Je gids laat je kennismaken met een verscheidenheid aan verborgen straatvoedsel op vijf verschillende plekken in Siem Reap, waar je ook een voorproefje krijgt van hoe het is om op een Vespa te zijn en te leren over het lokale eten en de cultuur van Siem Reap.

Onze avondvoedseltour begint met een ophaalservice bij uw hotel. De eerste is het huis van Lort Cha waar je de CAMBODJAANS ROERGEBAKTE RIJST PIN NOODLE kunt testen met heerlijke roerbaktechnieken en eenvoudige stappen die je kunt leren. Stapsgewijze foto's en een receptenvideo zijn toegestaan.
Tweede stop, u bezoekt Made in Cambodia Market, de marktplaats waar lokaal gemaakt handwerk, sieraden en zijden sjaals worden verkocht.
De volgende stop is het lokale restaurant waar je fruit, loempia's, tofu en BBQ-slakken proeft. Daarna ga je verder naar de Phum Num Banh Chok waar je de authentieke Cambodjaanse Noodle met Chicken Curry, Yellow & Red Fish Soup kunt testen.
Daarna gaan we naar de lokale avondmarkt, waar je wat insecten en fantastische gebarbecuede kip kunt proberen, terwijl je geniet van een koud drankje terwijl je op een matras naast de straatmarkt zit. Een opmerking hier, je gids is heel voorzichtig om ervoor te zorgen dat alles wat je eet schoon en goed gekookt is.
Bij de laatste halte bezoekt u Long's Bar, waar u kunt genieten van een paar biertjes van de tap in een ontspannen sfeer en uw gids vragen kunt stellen voordat u terugkeert naar uw hotel.

Ravi was our amazing tour guide who was very prompt picking us up and he was so knowledgeable. We were taken to a number of food stops to try beautiful Cambodian food. All along the way Ravi passed on his vast local knowledge to us. We really loved the tour and would highly recommend it. Ravi was awesome.

We had a great time with our tour guide Ravy and our driver Sambah. Ravy was very informative and friendly, he gave us some background information about his childhood experiences and of the Khmer culture. He even taught us how to say some basic Khmer phrases like hello, good bye and thank you. He was very considerate in making sure I had 100% vegetarian food.

We got picked up from our hotel by Ravy and his driver via tuktuk. Ravy's english was excellent and he explained the nights itinerary. We were then taken on a delicious cultural foodie extravaganza around Siem Reap. Sampling traditional dishes and deserts, although I didn't fancy the fried insects. Finishing in a traditional wooden house bar for a free beer on the travel company's dime. Ravy and the driver were wonderful company with Ravy telling us about his life and culture. He's was very interesting company and we would do it again with him next year if we came back. Maybe he could teach us some more Kampachean 😀

Davy and his team were fantastic. We had four food stops that were all amazing. There were two shopping stops as well where we bought several really nice gifts to bring back. We capped the evening with a beer at a local place.

Fun tuk tuk food tour! Sounded like others cancelled their reservations day before, so I was the only one on tour. Bopha is a passionate foodie and very cheery. It was cool to see her interacting with a multitude of people we encountered on our route. Whether friends, restaurant staff, or other tour guides, everyone seemed to hold her in high regard. Crickets and Grasshoppers were actually pretty good to eat. Thankful to Bopha for encouraging me to try and eating them with me.
