Bruisende markten, heerlijke gerechten, cafés, livemuziek, de thuisbasis van het beste Carnaval, Festivals en Cesária Évora, onze beroemde blotevoetendiva. Bezoek onze prachtige stranden met kristalhelder water en levendige kustdorpen waar u lokale, vriendelijke mensen kunt vinden. Beleef het met ons en je leert zeker het beste van São Vicente kennen!

Geniet van een ophaalservice vanuit Porto Grande, we wachten op je bij de uitgangs-/ingangspoort (ongeveer 5+ minuten lopen vanaf het schip); ontmoet uw lokale gids die op uw aankomst wacht. GEGARANDEERD dat u op tijd terugkeert naar uw schip!
Het uitkijkpunt naar Mindelo. Maak een rit naar het oude fort en zie de meest schitterende uitzichten op onze prachtige baaistad Mindelo.
Zie hoe onze kunstenaars hun stukken tentoonstellen in ons prachtige culturele centrum. Exposities worden vaak bijgewerkt, dit is waar veel belangrijke evenementen worden gehouden.
Bezoek het bronzen standbeeld van Diogo Alfonso - Wees getuige van de dagelijkse levensstijl van de inwoners van Mindelo - dit is een knooppunt van de stad
Lifestyle van Cabo Verde, vissersmannen en -vrouwen, afkomstig uit de zee met een verscheidenheid aan prachtige vissen
Maak een wandeling door de stad waar u een idee krijgt van de levensstijl van de eilanden; bezoek het Cultureel Centrum om het huidige talent te observeren, je gids leidt je door de bruisende markten van Mindelo; Vis, Gemeentelijk (groente/fruit) en Afrikaans* (zondag gesloten).
De grootste markt in São Vicente, zult u een kleurrijke reeks van fruit, groenten, thee, likeuren en handgemaakte lokale producten zien.
Rijd naar het hoogste punt van ons eiland, Monte Verde, 774 meter of 2.539 voet, geniet van een adembenemend panoramisch uitzicht, geniet van een kopje thee (lokaal geteeld) of probeer de theelikeur in het Theehuis
Bezoek de levendige vissersdorpjes van São Vicente. Houd contact met de lokale bevolking. Prachtige stranden en dorpjes waar je de lokale bevolking kunt vinden, plekken om te stoppen voor lunch/diner/drank
Ga zwemmen of duiken vanaf de trampolim in de helderblauwe lagune aan het strand van Baia das Gatas - Prachtige omsloten baai met blauw/groen water, met een prachtig uitzicht op de kust.
Rijd langs de prachtige kustweg van North Baia / Praia Grande, de kustlijn hier is uitgestrekt van majestueuze witte zandduinen en zwarte vulkanische bergen, met prachtig veranderend blauw water. LET OP: Exclusief op een halve dag, 4 uur
Ga naar ons vissersdorpje Calhau, ook de thuisbasis van de vulkaan Viana. bezoek de agrarische vallei van Calhau, deze oase in de woestijn is waar we onze eilanden zullen zien en ruiken Traditionele landbouwactiviteiten, vegetatie, dieren, waterputten en oude ijzeren windmolens vullen Terug naar Mindelo na een fantastische dag vol ontdekkingen van het beste van São Vicente ! Very disappointing, we were dropped off the Cruise Ship, the port was worrying, lots of stray dogs and not so hospitable locals. We’ve traveled to many places , this island is not one I would return to.

Very well organised, very informative, Danny, our guide was good and answered all questions and interacted with us. Also good host at lunch. Driver was also very good, we felt safe on the windy, hilly roads.

Our guide met us near the cruise ship which was great. It was a fantastic small group tour around the island. We had plenty of time at each stop and beat the crowd. Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly.

Our tour guide, Raphael, did an excellent job of sharing his island. We enjoyed the walking tour of Mindelo to learn history and how the people live. The drive up to the peak on a hand built road was interesting, as was the trip to a lovely beach! The local lunch he arranged was very tasty!
