Steek de iconische Conwy Suspension Bridge over naar de ommuurde stad Conwy, een van de best bewaarde middeleeuwse steden van Groot-Brittannië.
Je reis gaat verder naar het historische ommuurde stadje Conwy, waar je vrije tijd hebt om te verkennen. U kunt ervoor kiezen om Conwy Castle te bezoeken (meerprijs), het kleinste huis van Groot-Brittannië aan de jachthaven te bekijken of langs de middeleeuwse kasteelmuren te wandelen. Deze stop is ook de perfecte kans om te genieten van een traditionele Welshe lunch, we raden Fisherman’s Fish & Chips aan in de hoofdstraat.
Het avontuur gaat verder terwijl u Snowdonia National Park binnenreist, het op een na grootste nationale park in het Verenigd Koninkrijk. In ware BusyBus-stijl ga je buiten de gebaande paden en heb je de kans om inheemse schapen en wilde pony's te spotten voordat je een korte wandeling door de Ogwen-vallei maakt om een aantal gedenkwaardige foto's te maken. Veel gasten beschouwen dit als het hoogtepunt van de dag!
Reis via schilderachtige bergwegen 'buiten de gebaande paden' naar het pittoreske dorpje Betws-y-Coed, een perfecte plek om uw benen te strekken en te verkennen. Hier kunt u traditionele winkels bekijken, souvenirs kopen en een kijkje nemen bij het oude treinstation dat bijdraagt aan de charme van het dorp. Het is ook een ideale stop om te genieten van een verfrissing - misschien een ijsje op een warme dag of een warme koffie als het weer koeler is.
Als klap op de vuurpijl maken we een stop bij het Pontcysyllte Aquaduct, een van de meest opmerkelijke staaltjes techniek van Groot-Brittannië en een UNESCO Werelderfgoed. Dit ware icoon van het industriële erfgoed van Wales biedt een kans voor wie zich dapper voelt om over het aquaduct te lopen naast kajaks en kanaalboten. Mis de kans niet om een foto te maken vanuit het midden, met de River Dee die ver onder je voeten stroomt.

They ask you to be 15 minutes before departure time we were there 30 minutes before departure time hoping to get good seats. We were picked up from Chester. We didn’t realize it was coming from Liverpool. We were shocked to find as a couple. Therewas only a backseat and theseat in front of it available. I had the backseat. My wife had the one in front. I think it was the wheel hub or a box on the floor of her which made it less legroom for her. The tour would’ve been very good if as other customers on the trip agree we had a little more time in each place. It was much too, rushed The guy driver drove too fast and it was in a hurry. Everywhere, the commentary she gave most people again agree with us we could not understandwhat she was saying, most of the time she spoke to fast. As I said, we should’ve had more time in each place particularly as we got back to Chester at 5:30 when it should’ve been about just another 15 to 30 minutes in the main place would’ve been good extra. We have been on several trips like this with another well-known company. They were all excellent, but unfortunately, I cannot recommend this company unless they slow down a bit and have a driver it takes a little clearer and slower so we canall understand.
We loved our shore excursion to North Wales. All places we visited were beautiful and we had enough free time. Shelly was our driver and guide and she was wonderful.
Wales is beautiful and it was a great day! As always with tours we wished we had more time in certain areas such an Conwy and for lunch. The bus air conditioning was broken so it was very hit in the back.
We really enjoyed this tour. The tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable. She even knew some “short cuts” that turned out to be a beautiful scenic route. The sites were perfect for what we wanted to see. The tour guide even did her best to make time for the aqueduct.
It was well organized and did a great job of exposing us to various aspects of Wales. Shelley was a fantastic guide - great personality and added little touches to the main parts of the tour - played Welsh music while we traveled in the BusyBus, recommended places to eat, etc. Wales was beautiful and this was a great tour!
The tour was everything that I expected of it. The beautiful Victorian Beach Front at Llandudno, Conwy Castle, Snowdonia and the Aquaduct were all beautiful to see. I wish I had days to explore rather than the one day tour. Allan did a great job as tour guide and driver. Maybe if I ever get back to see Anglesey, I’ll be to explore more in northern Wales.
Pros: Pick up was timely. Bus was nice and was comfortable. The itinerary was good and both the Tour Guide and driver were nice. Cons: Music was turned on for the ride - was quite loud. Lunch stop - no recommendations were made by the Guide. Last stop on the Tour (aquaduct) was unfamiliar to the Guide (had to ask a 3rd party for walking directions). Lastly, comfort break spots were not pointed out through the day.

The tour is a perfect way to see as many parts of North Wales as possible within a day. With a handful of stops with just enough time to explore, the 9 hours flew by. It's a way of getting a taste of Wales and whets your appetite to come back on your own to experience the towns and areas on your next trip. Our tour guide was great and made it fun, she knew a lot and made sure we were all safe on the road and at each stop.

What a great trip!! Saw so many wonderful places. We saw places that we probably would never have got to under our own steam. A lovely group of people from all over Europe made it an even better experience!! A big thanks to Lee for helping me and my sister out when our dad took ill while we were on the trip.
