Deze samengestelde tour omvat drie onvergetelijke stops: de prachtige Petrohué Falls, het charmante stadje Puerto Varas en de elegantie van Frutillar aan het meer. Begin de dag bij Petrohué Falls, waar smaragdgroen water door vulkanisch gesteente raast met de Osorno vulkaan in de buurt. Verken vervolgens Puerto Varas, bekend om zijn Duitse architectuur, ambachtelijke markten en prachtige uitzichten op het meer. Genesteld aan de oevers van Lake Llanquihue – het grootste meer van Chili. Puerto Varas staat met zijn kenmerkende Duits-beïnvloede architectuur bekend om zijn schilderachtige straatjes, gezellige cafés en prachtige uitzichten. Op heldere dagen zie je niet alleen de vulkaan Osorno, maar ook Calbuco en de scherp begroeide Puntiagudo in de verte, wat zorgt voor een echt ansichtkaartwaardig landschap. Deze halte is perfect voor een beetje vrije tijd en verkenning. Je hebt vrije tijd om door de stad te wandelen, lokale ambachtelijke winkels te bezoeken en de schoonheid van het meer te bewonderen. Om uw bezoek nog specialer te maken, bieden we een gratis snackpauze met een voorproefje van Chili: vers gemaakte rundvleesempanadas gecombineerd met een glas rode of witte Chileense wijn. Omdat de meeste van onze gasten passagiers van cruiseschepen zijn, hebben we geleerd dat een lunch om te zitten meestal niet nodig is – dus bieden we iets lichts en heerlijks, perfect om van het uitzicht te genieten zonder een moment van uw avontuur te missen.
Onze eerste stop is de prachtige Petrohué Falls, gelegen in het Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park. Hier slingert de smaragdkleurige Petrohué-rivier zich een weg door oud vulkanisch gesteente, waardoor een reeks watervallen ontstaat. Hoewel de watervallen zelf niet torenhoog in omvang zijn, ligt hun schoonheid in het contrast tussen het levendige water en de donkere basaltrotsformaties gevormd door eerdere uitbarstingen. Op heldere dagen wordt u getrakteerd op een adembenemend uitzicht op de vulkaan Osorno, die op de achtergrond majestueus oprijst. Het ligt op slechts 15 minuten rijden van deze plek, en de besneeuwde top biedt een perfecte achtergrond voor de scène. Deze stop gaat niet alleen over de waterval – het gaat over het in je opnemen van de rauwe, natuurlijke schoonheid van het zuiden van Chili en het verbeelden van de krachtige krachten die dit landschap hebben gevormd.
Onze laatste stop voordat we teruggaan naar de haven is het pittoreske stadje Frutillar. Hier heb je wat vrije tijd om te genieten van het uitzicht op het meer, het masjestueuze “Theater of the Lake” en te wandelen langs de promenade aan het water, of gewoon genieten van de sfeer van deze sprookjesstad. Om de dag met een zoete noot af te sluiten, bieden wij u een gratis plakje traditionele Duitse Kuchen (cake), geserveerd met uw keuze van thee of koffie. Het is de perfecte traktatie om van te genieten terwijl je nadenkt over de avonturen van de dag. En wees gerust: we keren altijd met voldoende tijd terug naar de haven. We weten hoe belangrijk het is voor passagiers van cruiseschepen om zich veilig en op schema te voelen – en in al onze bedrijfsjaren hebben we nog nooit een schip gemist.

The tour was very well organized. The destinations were well chosen and you had time to explore them on your own. Our tour guide Yavi was very competent and friendly, she spoke very clearly and told a lot about this area. There was a "snack break" with delicious empanadas, 3 different types of cakes, red and white wine, liqueur and water. Everything tasted delicious. The driver drove very carefully. We can highly recommend this tour with Pink Tours.
We had a wonderful tour with Maria as our guide. She took us to all the popular places along the lake as well as the waterfall, and had so much information to share with us! There was never a dull moment! Her English was incredible and very easy to understand. We enjoyed the stop by the lake with the delicious empanadas and wine! What a nice surprise for an all around great day! I highly recommend her tour!

Very fun trip, beautiful scenery and short walk to the falls. Ezy our tour guide was personable and shared a wealth of information of the region. She even quizzed us on the way back of what we learned, handing out Chilean chocolates for participating. Everyone got a treat! The highlight had to be our stop off the side of the road in a small photo op location. A table was setup with wine and water, homemade large Chilean empanadas, kuchen and chocolate cookies for all of us. Many others on our tour were as surprised as we were with the personal touch and thoughtfulness. The scenery was beautiful, company great and really made for a wonderful outing. The tour itself was great. The mountain is pictureque with the falls rushing down. There's a short walk to get there but easy, even for someone with a cane. We also stopped in Frutillar and Puerto Vagas...both are walkable towns with shops and beautiful sceneries. In note, we booked this tour outside the cruise ship. We docked late and our tender was late. I texted Pink Tours and they waited for us....very accommodating and saved us the stress and panic. Thank you Victoria!!
Lots to see on this tour: volcanos, beautiful rushing waterfalls in a park, lake, lovely cities to walk around and shop in. We were given empanadas and wine for a snack and later some kuchen from Fruitillar. Our guide, Erick, 27, was excellent. Very good English, very knowledgeable and friendly. We learned a lot. Highly recommended.

We visited Puerto Montt on a stop from our cruise and booked a local tour instead of the ship excursion — and it was hands down the best decision we made. Our guide took us to Puerto Varas, Frutillar, and Petrohué Falls, and every detail of the day was thoughtful and perfectly organized. She has over 15 years of experience as a tour guide, and it truly shows. Her English is impeccable, her knowledge of the area is excellent, and she knows exactly how to manage cruise schedules so there’s zero stress. What really set this tour apart was the personal touch. She brought homemade German cake (she actually owns a bakery in town!), alfajores de dulce de leche, empanadas, and even red and white wine. It felt warm, local, and authentic — not rushed or generic like many cruise excursions. The itinerary was better than the cruise ship’s, with more stops and flexibility, and the price was less than half of what the cruise line was charging. Smaller groups, more time at each place, and a much more personal experience. She recently opened her own tour business this year, which explains why there aren’t hundreds of reviews yet — but don’t let that stop you. This is a true hidden gem, and I would recommend her 100% to any cruise passenger visiting Puerto Montt who wants a high-quality, stress-free, and memorable day. I would book again without hesitation.
