Shiraito Falls is een van de 100 beroemdste watervallen in Japan en is een belangrijk pelgrimsoord en ascetische beoefening. De schoonheid van de waterval, die 20 meter hoog en 150 meter breed is, en de negatieve ionen kalmeren de geest. Sengen Taisha is het hoofdheiligdom van de ongeveer 1300 Sengen-heiligdommen in Japan. Het is het oudste heiligdom in de Tokai-regio. De godheid is de berg Fuji. Het belangrijkste heiligdom, gebouwd door Tokugawa Ieyasu, is een nationaal belangrijk cultureel bezit, terwijl de Yudama-ike-vijver, die wordt gevoed door gesmolten sneeuw van de berg Fuji, een nationaal bijzonder natuurmonument is. Er worden twee watervallen bezocht. Shiraito Falls is geselecteerd als een van de top 100 watervallen in Japan. Het is een constituerend bezit omdat het een bedevaartsoord en opleidingsoord was voor mensen, voornamelijk Fuji-ko-volgelingen. De waterval is 20 m hoog en 150 m breed, met veel kleine watervallen die naar beneden stromen en eruitzien als veel witte draden die naar beneden hangen.
Het gebouw is gemaakt in de vorm van een spoorlijn alsof het een gesimuleerde ervaring is van het beklimmen van de berg Fuji. Het muuroppervlak verandert naarmate je de helling opklimt en er verschijnen silhouetten van klimmers en dieren, wat het een leuke en leerzame ervaring maakt. Een berg beklimmen is een inspannende en veeleisende activiteit, maar zelfs mensen met beperkte mobiliteit en kleine kinderen kunnen samen van de ervaring genieten. Op mooie dagen biedt de bovenste verdieping uitzicht op de berg Fuji.

The tour does not include the climb to Mount Fuji which would take much longer Our guide Ronald was perfect not only managed to optimize the time allowing us to stick to the schedule despite considerable traffic caused by an accident but answered all our curiosity about the country The driver saw the inconvenience that made us slow down said he was available to extend the scheduled time and in the end he even gave us a gift In short, everything perfect

Our tour guide Elisa was excellent. She spoke English perfectly. She knew exactly where and when to go to get the best photos before the buses all came. We were able to get great shots before the places were mobbed. The stops on the tour were great. We saw everything that we had hoped to see. She recommended the local dish Yakisoba which was delish! Our guide; Yoshiko Ota, was excellent. The communication prior to our trip with Shizuoka Taas was reassuring. The waterfalls were magnificent, the heritage center was informative and fun. Our guide additionally took us to a Sake factory, not on the list. The whole excursion was fun, well organized, and worth what we paid, even though there were only the two of us.

We did this tour in may 2024 and we really enjoyed it. Our guide Nami was great. The scenery was nice at the waterfall even under the rain. The tour at the shrine was also instructive with the local guides and the meal we had was very local and full of savor. I recommend this tour.
