Begin je dag bij Shai Hills Resource Reserve, waar een rondleiding je van dichtbij brengt naar antilopen, bavianen, vogels en oude grotten. They canceled the trip because it rained. It’s the rainy season? Maybe they shouldn’t be open and taking reservations? I was sad because it was my last full day in Ghana and I budgeted for this so I could see some of the beautiful country only to have them cancel because it was rainy. They were nice about it, and very apologetic and offered to reimburse me. I think if it’s the case they aren’t available for the rainy season they shouldn’t accept any reservations
I sincerely apologize for the disappointment and understand your frustration, especially since this was your last full day in Ghana and you had planned and budgeted for this experience. While we do operate during the rainy season, there are occasions when weather conditions become severe enough that proceeding with a tour would not be safe or enjoyable for our guests. In such situations, we make the difficult decision to cancel for safety reasons. We truly regret that this affected your travel plans. We appreciate your understanding and are glad our team was able to offer a full reimbursement. This was an easy nice leisurely tour that does not take a most of your day. It is easy to get to the location of activities. Shai Hills was very nice. The rock climbing was so much fun. Afterwards we enjoyed a nice boat ride on the Lake. Our boat became the party boat. Then we enjoyed a delicious buffet meal. Niiiiice!!! Our tour guide and driver was really good.

I had sutch a lovely experience in Natrue. Due to the bad road we had to hike 5 km to Shai hills and that was so fun. I am glad we where able to walk in nature. Wisdom was a great guide. Highly recommend this experience.

My spouse and I had a truly great time on this wonderful day trip from Accra! We very much enjoyed the serene landscapes of Shai national Parc and Volta River. Emanuel was a perfect guide and went to great lengths to cater to our interests and personalize the experience. At our request, we went for a walk in the Shai hills and we stopped at Akosombo bridge for a short stroll across and foto opportunity. Everything else was also arranged perfectly. We had lunch in a very nice restaurant with a beautiful terrace overlooking the river and went on a peaceful and relaxing boat ride. On the way to the sites, we had a very pleasant and interesting chat with Emanuel and learned a lot a bout Ghanaian food and music. Thank you so much for this wonderful outing!

Good day trip out of Accra. Be sure to wear good sneakers for the rock climbing - much more of an actual climb including with ropes portions, though the guides are available to support. The lunch and boat ride balanced out th3 day we'll.
