De originele, oudste en beste 'Sherlock'-tour / Dompel jezelf onder in de wereld van Sherlock Holmes en Dr. Watson tijdens deze privéwandeling van vier uur in Londen. Verken de centrale locaties in Londen die beroemd zijn geworden in de opnames van de BBC-bewerking 'Sherlock', evenals plaatsen die betrekking hebben op het leven van Sir Arthur Conan Doyle en enkele van de films. Onderweg hoort u verhalen achter de schermen van de set en waarom locaties zijn gekozen, evenals een bezoek aan een aantal fascinerende plaatsen langs de weg inclusief New Scotland Yard. We eindigen bij de echte 221B Baker Street, waar je vrij bent om het Sherlock Holmes House Museum te bezoeken of een Sherlock door te brengen in de Sherlock Shop! ** We zijn trots dat we onlangs door BBC Comic Relief zijn uitgekozen om een heel speciale Sherlock-tour te geven met speciale prijswinnaars en Sherlock-acteurs **

Bekijk de prachtige oude Victoriaanse pub gewijd aan Sherlock Holmes.
Sta op de plek waar veel van de BBC publiciteitsfoto's zijn gemaakt. Zie waar Sherlock een aangespoeld lijf aan de oevers van de Theems vindt en de echte geschiedenis van deze plek. Voor fans van Irene Adler is er ook een scène in de buurt opgenomen.
Niet alleen werden delen van een cruciale Sherlock-aflevering hier gefilmd, maar we leren ook over het echte leven Old Bailey en de nabijgelegen bezienswaardigheden met betrekking tot executies en andere bloederige dingen!
Als we op de tour gaan, passeren we verschillende beroemde bezienswaardigheden, zoals de kathedraal van St. Pauls en leren we iets over de geschiedenis ervan. Natuurlijk waren de voorste stappen te zien in een recente Sherlock-film.
Onderweg naar onze volgende plek zullen we deze beroemde plek zien waar Braveheart werd geëxecuteerd samen met anderen die niet op de brandstapel werden verbrand!
Dit was een locatie in een recente Sherlock-film. Van buiten zullen we deze oude plek bezoeken die de Grote Brand van Londen heeft overleefd, een Pestkuil ziet.
Zie de plek waar Sherlock van het dak viel en waar Watson de fietser tegenkwam. Sommige fans houden ervan om ter plekke te liggen en een foto te maken!
Dit prachtige plein is waar we Dr. Watson voor het eerst ontmoeten in Sherlock. Er zijn goede redenen waarom ze deze locatie hebben gekozen die je binnenkort zult leren.
Bezoek de straat met de langste geschiedenis van Sherlock Holmes op het grote scherm. Het was hier dat de allereerste 221B Baker Street bijna 100 jaar geleden werd gefilmd en het is ook in recente films gebruikt!
Zie de plaats waar Sherlock zijn regenachtige nacht had gehad, samen met de mysterieuze vrouw in het laatste seizoen van Sherlock.
Bezoek de iconische locatie van Sherlock. Misschien ga je naar binnen en pak je een drankje en zie je enkele foto's op de muur van waar Benedict en Martin zitten en eten. Naast de deur is natuurlijk de deur waar ze zich bevinden, 221B in Sherlock en we zullen je vertellen hoe en waarom ze het hier doen.

We eindigen de tour buiten de 221B Baker Street. Hier heb je de kans om wat Sherlock-souvenirs te kopen of een bezoek te brengen aan het Sherlock House Museum, precies zoals het Sherlocks-huis in de Victoriaanse tijd zou zijn geweest. Pas op voor professor Moriarty en die grote slechterik van de Baskervilles!
Hier vinden we het huis van Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. We verkennen de straten van literaire Bloomsbury en zien de plek waar Sherlock woonde voordat hij naar Baker Street verhuisde.

We ontmoeten je bij ELK centraal hotel in Londen of ontmoeten je bij het startpunt buiten Cafe Nero bij de uitgang van Westminster Underground Station waar de tour begint.

- We hebben deze tour aangemerkt als bijzonder veilig tijdens de uitbraak van het Coronavirus vanwege over het algemeen rustige plaatsen die we bezoeken waar sociale afstandelijkheid over het algemeen geen probleem is. Al onze tours zijn privé, dus het is alleen jij / je familie en je gids. Om het voor alle betrokkenen gemakkelijker en veiliger te maken, raden we aan deze tour iets later dan normaal te beginnen, misschien rond 10.30-11 uur, waardoor we allemaal de spits kunnen missen. We komen graag nog steeds naar je hotel om je te ontmoeten, maar voorlopig raden we je aan om ons te ontmoeten bij het startpunt van de tour. Hierdoor kunt u met een taxi of uber komen in plaats van met het openbaar vervoer. Voel je vrij om tijdens of tijdens de tour maskers te dragen. Je gids heeft ook een masker bij zich. Let op: deze tour heeft normaal gesproken 3 korte metroritten, deze kunnen worden gewijzigd voor taxi's.

Kevin Pearman was our fabulous guide for the Sherlock Holmes Private walking tour, which as an additional bonus, has a vast knowledge of history that made the tour exceptional. This tour has to be experienced in person as words cannot describe the many sites we saw and all of the inside tidbits with fun anecdotes accompanying. Stephen was great. I was surprised that he took us to so many places that had nothing really to do with Sherlock. And he had lots of great info about everywhere we went. My favorite was when we saw where they filmed the scene in Sherlock where cumberbatch fell off the roof.

Our first activity on our very first visit to London - we traveled as a family and everyone loved this tour. So much info on the Sherlock Holmes saga - both past and more recent. Our guide, Kevin, was absolutely the best. He was kind, helpful, supremely knowledgeable! He pointed out so much that was nearby our walking path and helped us become familiar with the tube. Based upon information he shared, we went back to several places over the span of our visit. Kevin obviously loves what he does and it was clear that his top priority was to make our experience a great one!

Simon was like a walking Goggle of London history, a veritable encyclopedic knowledge of all things Sherlock and all things London. Walking through London with Simon allowed us to discover many unexpected gems of the rich history London hides in every nook and that probably other typical tours might miss. We had an absolutely fantastic time and when we come back to London we will be looking for Simon again for his other walking tours!!!

My husband and I did the Sherlock Holmes walking tour with Kevin three weeks ago. Well, it was supposed to be the Sherlock Holmes walking tour but it was WAY MORE than that! The things we learnt about London were amazing and so many gems hiding in plain sight! Our guide was SO knowledgeable and interesting, we could have walked all day listening to his stories! If you only have one time to do one tour in London, this has to be it!!

It’s hard to say which part of this tour was the most exciting. Kevin, our tour guide made every part of the trip so interesting and our grandchild flipped over following Sherlock’s story. Wished we could have spent more time with kevin .

Stephen kindly adapted his tour to our requests - my husband for Sherlock Holmes, for myself for some of the older buildings and communities that merged over the years to form London. Stephen's depth of knowledge was apparent, but he adapted his tour to our level! He also shared lots of fun facts to keep us smiling. I would thoroughly recommend one of these tours, especially to people like us who used to commute into London for work, but who never took the time to really look at and think about all the history around us.

I absolutely loved this walking tour! Not only did I visit the show's filming locations (which was such a thrill!) , but I also learned so much about London's history. There's nothing like a walking tour to familiarize yourself with a destination. This is my 3rd time to London but through this tour, I definitely discovered more things compared to my past visits when I toured on my own. My guide Kevin was very knowledgeable, and was also the nicest and most patient guide I've ever met! I absolutely recommend this private tour to any Sherlock Holmes fan, and to anyone wanting to learn more about London! Another plus: the owner is very quick to respond if you ever have any questions or concerns.
